knight rider online

Hey all it's been awhile but, with the new KR coming soon I thought I'd come back and start posting again.

Anyways, while watching the previews with Kitt's transformations into Attack Kitt, etc did anyone else start having flashback to the Viper tv show? I mean I had that feeling watching the movie but, the more I see it the more I start having Viper flashbacks. Hell Kitt even changes cars/color like that Viper did. And then that whole cave like headquarters they have reminds me of the one in Viper. That can't be a good thing. But, maybe it's just me.

I would rather they would have KITT stay in his "basic mode" cept he is all black with no stripes with black rims. No "Attack Kitt" etc.

its a bit like watching transformers isnt it?

the Attack Mode and the reminds me a lot of Super Pursuit Mode. while i never was a fan of SPM either, the transformation to attack mode at least in concept stays true to the original knight rider.
just because the visual effect of the transformation is similar to what was done in transformers, it doesn't mean that this is a bad thing... it's just business as usual.
