missing scene from back door pilot?

i remember watching the pilot the night it premiered and there was a scene where charles gramen was with jenny Mikes mother and she said "you didnt use another transam did you" but now watching it on NBC website i watched it over and over and that line is not in there anymore.
why is that?

It was the scene when they arrive at the motel and she ask's him that while she was shutting the door to her El Camino.
The phrase was:
"KITT isn't another Trans Am is he?", Charles says, "Mustang"

i just dont get why pontiac would even consider bitching about it. it gives them free exposure absolutely no reason to complain

Read up about what happened with the original series and Pontiac. Though I'm sure someone here won't be feeling as lazy as I am right now to go into it.

Oh sweet! They fixed the broken link! I guess because they are not releasing the DVD after all. ...Oh yes, this was the video that started with the truck and not the shot of the mountain. I thought I recalled that cut out somewhere. Perhaps they cut out a bunch of things… though it is very interesting that they chose to cut out the Trans Am reference.

Nope for some reason they're not releasing the dvd. I had it on standby on amazon. But then they're all like 'nope you can not have. you suck...' In other words I got my money back in a full refund with no reason as to why. *Sighs.* I wanted it too...*cries*

The scene when Jenny mentions the Trans Am is not missing from the NBC website video. It's at the 46:38 mark.

thanks for clearing that up.
i swear i remember it from a different scene though. i dont get why it seems that jenny said that line during the day time when they are trying to leave the hotel room when the bad guys are looking for them.
i just have bad memory .
