knight rider online

I came to this site after seeing my name posted on here without my permission. I was totally shocked to see it. No one cares for privacy anymore? Why would people go to some place and dig out info on others? I don't go around pestering people.

Thanks for the welcome. Apparently someone plasted my name on this forum when they found my name in the library of congress. All I did was registered a script and I'm in here now. I feel like my privacy has been invaded.

I don't think you have any reason to feel your privacy was invaded, since the thread in question talks about publicly held records. Privacy invasion comes from things that aren't in public records.

Plastered to me makes it seem like we were out to get you, while your name is just in a list of others in a very positive light!

But you should feel good about the conversation, as we are just diehard knight rider fans looking for any Knight Rider tidbits on the net. Can you tell us anything about the script you registered? Were you invovled with the Knight Rider series at the time?

At the time this discussion was going on I had lost my sister in dec of 2001. (unexplained sudden death) My mom was terminately ill with cancer and i lost her and my aunt within a month. I am glad I didn't read this when all of that was going on. I'm just a scriptwriter. I'm not famous or anything. I don't want to be famous. I just do my work and that is all.

Thanks for the welcome everyone. Ironically I am a fan. I found out ages ago that producers keep complaining that these writers wouldn't watch the show. They would give them good scripts, but the didn't know the characters. So I figure if I would just do scripts on shows I already watch then I would have the problem solved. It's been working great since then.

I don't remember exactly how I found that information as it was 6 years ago, but it was on the Library of Congress' website. A search over there should still turn up the same information. I'm curious - which of those scripts did you write? Do you still have the script(s)? Were you on the set of Knight Rider, and if so, could you provide any insight to your experience there?

Update - I remember how I found it now...it was from the US Copyright Office website, www.copyright.gov.

Just do a search for "Knight Rider" and those scripts will come up - it's all public record.

I can give you some insight on how any show works. But it would take a lot of writing. Probably need another thread for that. I didn't do much with that show. So I don't know if you would be interested. It was the first script I did and looking back now I can see where I messed up a lot on that compared to my current work. People think you just write a script and it gets aired. Man I wish that was true. lol

Giggles - which script or scripts did you write? I know I speak for many on this board in saying that we would be interested to hear about your script and the plot or even see the entire thing.

I think a thread might be better. Only cause we have fans from all over the world, and it's hard to get everyone in a room at the same time.

With the forum, people can reply when they can - and it's kept preserved - the chats aren't backed up really - so if you aren't there you miss it.
