Does anyone know how many cars will are being used for the black mustang modes of Ki3t (hero,attack and remote) in total including spares/stunt mules etc...??

Hmmm...In the pilot they used 3.One for Attack Mode,one for "Hero" KI3T,and one remote controlled one for making KI3T look like he's driving by himself.
In the actual series it probably depends on the episode and what they'll make KI3T do.If I find out the exact number I'll tell you.But for now it's just an assumption.Although I have a feeling that this version of KR is going to rely on CGI a lot more,just like many TV shows do now,so there may be less.So it's just an assumption if you're going to ask about the series.I assume maybe 3-5 will be used.

but was it only the 3 cars they used, did they not have spares or 'stunt' cars

i beleive the figure for TOS was around 11 in total... (someone on here can give the exact number probably)

If its the original series your referring too, I believe they totalled at least one nearly every episode.

When I meant spares or modes,that was my assumption for the actual series. I was in a rush to type because someone else wanted to use the computer at the moment and it didn't give me time to think.

They had the three cars but then I think they had three other ones to do the stunt work.
