Cool thanks.

So I wonder how they're going to pick things up if it's going to take place that much later. I guess they might just ignore some of the dialog and other things from the TV movie instead of addressing and correcting it. Though it wouldn't be hard to just say something to simply contradict or retcon it I suppose.

And here in
http://www.musclecarblog.com/story-196- ... _june_23rd
will a anonymous source know about the start of the filming.
Could it be true?
Justin says not in the next two weeks.

Everyone always asks Justin, what did David Hasselhoff tell you? And he replies that the show is all about the relationship between a man and his car. It’s good that they keep repeating this because I think it needs to be remembered. We don’t fall in love with KITT because he can or can’t do this or that. We fall in love with him as a personality. So sure it will be fun to see what new attack KITT can do. But I think it is more important to develop who he is rather than what he can do. Maybe this is a feminine perspective, but without his personality, I could care less if he could turbo boost over the moon.

Well said Sue! I don't think it's a feminine perspective, I think it's a KR fan perspective, a big part of the formula!

They're filming in Toronto? i guess i shouldn't be surprised, but it really is going to give the show a whole new Look and Feel-I've seen a lot of shows that were filmed in Canada, and it always felt that way to me- the exception being "Smallville" which always filmed in Vancouver.

If the June 23rd start date is indeed true that only gives them one week to film before the potiential Actors strike that means they won't even get one episode finished before the strike should it occur. The current contract expires June 30th. Some positive news however The Television and radio actors have already reached an agreement so perhaps the rest of Hollywood won't be far behind. The televsion actors are only the Soap opera stars regular tv shows fall with the Movie actors crowd. Anyone know if there are any radio actors even left?

Seeing how Justin said he was from Nebraska, I just got this joke:
From the pilot:
Sarah: "...and what happens if your hydrogen fuel system breaks down in Nebraska? Cutting edge isn't always the best."
Mike: "Why you gotta hate on Nebraska??"

Thanks weeezl! I must say KR fans are some of the nicest people. That fact alone really says something about what kind of show this is or should be.
As for the strike: Usually, I believe, AFTRA and SAG sign deals together, it is kind of unusual that SAG has split with them and is still holding out. Here is the most recent article about it.
http://www.variety.com/article/VR111798 ... ors+strike
I am wondering what this will mean for us if they do strike. KR is apparently not worrying about it.
As for Canada: It would be nice if NBC could keep the jobs in the US, not that I hold any ill will towards Canada. But with all these strikes and everything else, we could use the boost to our economy. But I guess if you want to make a show on a low budget, Canada is the way to go. But who knows, it could always be just for a few scenes, we shall see.
And lastly Krfan1, I remember reading about the Nebraska thing a while back. I guess this is where I read it:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1114258/trivia
Maybe it was also mentioned in one of Neil’s interviews.

I wonder if them filming in Canada might have to do with the new "international" aspect of the new Knight Rider?
Happy Birthday Sue!

They're not filming in Toronto. They're filming in Santa Clarita, where the pilot was shot.

Nice to here.
And from you Shapeshifter, too.
The picture from the pilot are so familiar.
For me this should be keep up for the series.

Agreed, very good news. Sorry Justinbruening.net

I’m getting the vibe that the strike is not going to happen, but if it does the actors will be out on the picket line and it could offer a good opportunity to meet them.

I was so looking forward to being able to go down. Wish I had known that he was in Toronto this week
What I find odd is that Global aired the movie pilot and Justin did the press thing the other day with Global...yet their new Fall lineup on their website does not include Knight Rider.

Yupp, thanks! The channel "E!" will be airing the new series, Im guessing then that Global owns "E!" or something like that. Now I wonder if I get that station up north at school..either way though I do have NBC at least

You know when watching the pilot I didn’t really recognize too many places. Unlike when watching the original. Aside from the highway, there was only one place I thought I recognized. I feel like the cemetery might have been the golden oak ranch. You saying Santa Clarita makes me think I was right.

I feel like I should know what the Traceur or Graiman home was, or that hotel. I’m drawing a blank.
