knight rider online

Hey, there's a feature on http://www.gametrailers.com where they review/poke fun at old games briefly called the Video Game Vault. This week's was the NES Knight Rider, thought you might like to see it:

lol, hey the NES was cool that game could have been a lot better though. the host was definitely right they should have had the theme music... also what's that with KITT running out of shield??? kitt can't run out of shield!!! lol

the pepole that made the came did not understand th show that well that is why look how they tried with the graphocs of today's games....

I agree that game deserves mocking.

In some respects, it was terrible. It's physics were in no way realistic. Why, I called the "car" in that game the "T" Thousand. Seriously. It had two wheels and was shaped like a T for it's ability to drive on the line and go between cars. (Not using Ski mode.) It drank gasoline like a battleship. (One gallon to the...heh...not even one mile.) It fired ground-to-air missiles. (???) It had armor that flaked off from damage. (Again, ???) No David Hasselhoff. (Just a generalized manequin with black jacket/jeans in the opening image.) KITT's mission drove around the United States. (Almost every episode happened in California, save maybe six or ten or so.) At least, for the NES, there just wern't a whole lot of driving games available. The two Rad Racers. (And, some rare game that used it's engine.) The two R.C. Pro-Am's. A hand full of overhead racers (Super Off Road, to name one) that didn't move off the one screen. (I think a fair amount of those 45 listings under racing at GameFaqs are from FamiCom only releases. I don't remember there being much more then ten American releases.)
