Good spotting Mblackphoenix!!!! GST is really listening to us isn’t he.
For many of the original show's fans however, that KITT could talk was wholly inconsequential. What really sold the show for them was the series of ludicrous leaps and hard-core stunts performed by that old Pontiac every week. Is "turbo boost" coming back? And will KITT fly again? "There will be some version of turbo boost. But jumping destroys cars and Ford isn't giving us that many cars.
That’s really cool! It’s sad not too many people liked the movie, they should all watch it again, I find it really grows on you.
While I totally love that GST is listening to us he should remember that we all love the movie so we might not be a good sample of the population to take advice from. Turbo boost forever yeah!!!!!!
Yes we are such dorks. :D

No wait I take it back. “Listen to the dorks, these are not the droids you are looking for…” Oh wait wrong movie. Jedi mind tricks don’t work in the KR universe.

( I gotta stop posting at 2 am)

"You're going to see some stunts. We're doing an hour movie every week. We want the 'wow' factor."

Here's Inside Line's bit of unsolicited advice to Thompson: Do whatever you have to do get KITT up in the air every week. Cut the catering budget, scour Craigslist for cheap Mustangs, beg Ford super hard for more cars, because what Knight Rider needs more than anything else is some truly ludicrous stunts. If you're not wrecking a Mustang every week, there's something wrong.

I couldn't agree more!!!!!!!

Nah, that was a small problem with the original show, Turbo Boost was relied on way too much. I'd say once every five or six episodes would be better and have more impact when it is. Without it they'll still probably wreck a Mustang every week or maybe two depending how and what stunts are done.

Turbo Boost doesn't need to be done in every episode, but 2 out of every 3-4 isn't overdoing it....And it is no more far fetched now than it was in 1982. This entire show is a fantasy, the whole concept, it's supposed to be fun and entertaining, and Car Jumping and two wheel driving and all that is far more fun and entertaining that a car changing shapes 2-3 times an episode. Some people certainly won't agree with me on that, so there's no reason not to please everyone with a little bit of everything. :D

I have to strongly disagree with this statement. Part of he appeal of KR is the interaction between the driver and the car. Without this element, you lose a lot of charm, humor and to a degree, drama. One moment that stands out in my mind at the moment is from KR 2000 when KITT says "goodbye" or when he first "wakes up" and tells Michael he looks like crap and to 'get a life'. Moments like these need to be part of the show or they've lost a chunk of KR's essence IMO.
