Jen Traceur's fear of computers... KARR?

We’ve been looking into Jen Traceur’s history in other message boards and we agree that considering Mike’s Birthday he was probably conceived right after the first episode “Knight of the Phoenix” So I’m assuming that Jen was hanging around the Knight mansion for some reason and that Michael turned to her for solace over the loss of his identity and fiancé. But of course still being in love with Stevie he ended it with Jen and had her moved to safety.
But here is where the new topic comes in… I wonder why Jen has such a fear, hatred of technology, no computers phones etc??
“I haven’t had a phone in years, certainly not a computer. You know me Charles, you know that.”
Maybe something happened with her and KARR at the Knight estate before Michael got there and that is why KARR was deactivated. That would explain her hatred for trans ams and her not wanting her son to have anything to do with it. Could be why she and Michael didn't last.
