Hello,
Does anyone know of any software based voice boxes - such as an activex .net control / etc? I'm looking for either the original or the new pilot's modern one.

Thanks!

Give it a few months or so and I'm sure someone will come out with it. Right now it's too early and all the electronics companies are still trying to scramble for details.

well, actually i was just looking to see if there were any software based voice boxes - not necessarily with hardware to go along with it (other then a PC). also, i'm interested in both the old and new style box.

On YouTube there's a guy who set up his computer to speak in Kitt's voice and also display a working visual voice modulator. If that's what you're after, maybe you could ask him. If you can't find it on YouTube, I'll try to dig up the link. I think it was called 'my computer KITT' or something...

yes, j-knight's video shows a still photo of kitt's dash. i did a search of youtube and only found PCs driving hardware based voice modulators (such as on PC cases, etc). if you could find it, please post the link. thanks.

J, I wasn't talking about your video. And I will thumb through my history to find the link as soon as my computer gets back from the shop.

By the way, nice name 'blurpee' :D
