anyone notice when mchael gets into kitt after telling bonnie who stevie is, that kitt's ttops are off, but when he backs out of the semi, the windows are up and the ttops are on there, woops.

Must be those fancy retractable T-tops that suck back into the rear hatch than pivot up !

Actually, having never seen this episode since I was a small child, I was half-way surprised that I pegged the actual event before it happened. I was watching and I noticed that the t-tops were off, and I said to two onlookers, "Watch when he backs out the t-tops will be back on." I was only half-way surprised that I pegged it because this is the sort of thing to expect in a Knight Rider episode.

Actually in this episode while Michael and Devon are talking you see Bonnie putting them back in. maybe this was edited out on Sci Fi but when I taped it back on WWOR in the late 80's it was shown.

No, they didn't cut the ttop bit out of scifi's airing last night. I saw her put them back on.

Thanks Cheri for confirming that for me. Im one who believes some of the continuality errors can be explained. Some can't but some can.

i distinctly remember michael getting into kitt with the ttops OFF, putting it in revearse and backing out, how could bonny have had time to put them back in?
i was taking a snooze yesterday afternoon and woke up at like 4:59 and the credits had already rolled so i didnt bother starting my vcr for that episode, now im wishing i would have, argh

The way the scene was shot the camera was trained on Michael and Devon's conversation. Bonnie was kinda in the sidelines putting them back on. The veiwer would tend to focus on what Devon and MK were talking about and not Bonnie.

are you sure that this is the same scene

cause the scene im referring to, i clearly saw michael Backing kitt out of the semi with the tops out, thus bonnie couldnt have been putting them in, i think there were 2 scenes that they were out when he was in the semi, the one im referring to happend approx 14 minutes into the episode (i know this based on my original post which i made during the commercial)

In the Stevie episode, Bonnie did not put the tops on. First they are off, then they are back on. Go figure

Yes she did in the Stevie episode. Because its also the first time Bonnie tells him to becareful this is just as He's getting back in the car right after she finished putting them in.

are you sure your not thinking of "give me liberty...or give me death"

cause i just watched that one again and she does put the tops in on that episode but i dont remember her putting them on in "whitebird"

I haven't seen this episode in a while.. but about the time factor in putting them back on.. it would have only taken her about 15 seconds to put them on... but I don't know what it showed.. But I still want a set of those T-Tops that can both slide away when needed, and flip up when needed... I wouldn't ever have to throw mine in the trunk anymore!! I just have to hit a button!

well the scene i saw, was from the right front fender of kitt looking at michael getting into the car and backing out of the semi, and he is most definately moving with the left ttop not on the car, and its on when he is backing out from the outside thr truck view.

I have the episode with Stevie on tape and that was one of the big things I remembered about it was the T top screw up, so I know that Bonie did not put them on before Michael left the semi and once he was outside the semi they were on.
