Well, the car, in "performance mode" was decent (the morphing was retarded) and "Mike Traucer" was cast well and acted well... Storyline was pretty good as was the music and overall feel (the tie-ins to the original).

The rest (the acting and constant FORD product placement shots) was crap and the urine flavored icing on the crap cake was Deanna Russo's "acting"... Wow, one of the worst performances I have EVER seen, acting classes included.

I think it has potential with some dead weight removed...

For me the jury is out on Val doing the voice... His performance was flat to me but of course it was last minute, I hope he gets a chance to spice it up

I think all the cast will get better as the series goes on, only for the fact that they'll be more comfortable in their roles. I thought Deanna was pretty good in the Stanford classroom scene and throughout - I found her in the car alone a bit forced, but you try acting with a car!

Everyone overall felt great. Even Hasselhoff seemed to fall right into his old shoes.

I agree with Neps that The Hoff stepped right back in to his old shoes...

I thought it was not bad. I think it could have been better. I still don't like KITTs voice box either. I didn't like Val's voice as KITT at all. I liked the other voice they used in the teasers better but oh well. OH and the constant ford commercials sucked too! I wouldn't mind it going to series if they would get someone better to do the voice of KITT.
