Looks like the lunch lead to positive things. Hasselhoff in talks to reprise his role as Michael Knight and Deanna Russo announced to play Sarah Kamen.

"...Mike Tracer (Bruening), Michael Knight's son who never knew his dad."
Somewhere in this forum i have written, if i were a creator of movie/series, how i do my movie/series and i had mentioned, that the new KITT driver should be Michael Knight's son who don't know his father, so mine dream script is coming true.

I think Hasselhoff will be in the NBC's pilot movie, he always said, that he's the "Knight Rider" and even that article about Hoff which says, that he misses role on "Knight Rider" projects, so I think he'll accept the role, ofcoure it's reliant on NBC.

It's interesting that Russo is currently on Young and the Restless - the place were Hasselhoff got his start.

Interesting, but not uncommon to go with cheaper, lesser-known soap stars, just like Hasselhoff once was.

Of course not. Just making the connection.

The Young and the Restless is still on?

Man those soap operas never end. I'm pretty sure General Hospital started as a weekly play during the Victorian age and just never stopped.

I'm glad D. Hasselhoff is in talks to join in with the new "Knight Rider" TV-movie, which will add a credibility to the TV-movie that I don't think it has.
Perhaps his character will be a mentor to the younger Michael Knight character like Devon was to him, sans the British accent.
One can only hope......
