Depends on what value is on the package. On 30GBP, its around 15GBP tax and clearance.

Given how the Battlestar Galactica boxset made it to the UK, I'd say there's a high chance the Knight Rider one will too. Albeit 3 months later, in November time.
I'm a little concerned though, as my contact at Universal Playback has disappeared and their website has been down well over a week...

I noticed the site was down too Sith.
Infact it gave me a panic moment as I had just got rid of that Sasser virus and I thought it had come back, but it's the site thats down!

Great news 9 days before my birthday can't wait -
With this happening I wonder if they will plan to bring TKR out as well - or is that a different company responsible for TKR?

I have just ordered Series One myself. I know it's probably a boring question to ask even though Series One hasn't been released yet but when will they be releasing Series 2,3 and 4 on DVD?

Aaah, the beauty of Canada, one of the few places where the American dollar is worth more than the local currency.

well i did the math and if you were living in the US,and ordered the boxset from amazon's canadian site it would cost you $56.15 CDN = $35 US
which includes shipping.
they have an offer going currently that anything over $39 CDN is shipped free to you,but i think thats only valid if you're living in canada

Deep Discount DVD has the set (pre-order) for $38.99 with free shipping. A few dollars cheaper than Amazon. I have bought DVDs from this company and have been very happy with all my orders. They only ship/sell to the US though.

Well, I just ordered it from Amazon along with Knight Legacy. Simple and to the point.
Then I found out the Israeli AXN (Action channel) has just started broadcasting Knight Rider. As they don't have commercials, they don't cut episodes, so they show them in full.
I'm afraid by the time the DVDs arrive, I'll have already seen all the episodes (well, again, as I have seen them all)
Quite beautiful really. You couldn't watch Knight Rider in Israel for something like 7-8 years. Now we have two channels showing it

You're lucky!

I'm in the USA and on our local broadcast channels it's not shown. It was on cable TV's Sci-Fi channel but only in the month of June. I don't get cable TV because I can't afford the monthly fee for it.

So, for me, getting the DVD is really going to be exciting.

Especially since it'll also have all the extras as well.

Here in Canada we can only go for it when it is on satilite tv. Talk about a bum deal. but that life - for better or worse.

Got a message from Amazon today, saying the Boxset has now been sent to me. A little earlier than expected!

When ordering fromt the net - depending on which sites you roderr from - they could ship it as soon as you place the order - however recieving it is another deal all together. I ordered a c.d. catalog on car parts from Custom classics and still haven't recieved it in the mail yet. So just because they've sent it - it could be awhile till you recieve it in the mail.
