no offence or anything, but have you been living under a rock recently ? everybody knows the game is SUPPOSED to be out tomorrow, and everybody has seen the cover, old news my friend, old news.

one of my mates has just posted on the KOE board that the game has been delayed here until November 22nd ! coz of competition from GTA: vice city

i think this is true aswell becuase i went down to blockbuster today just to make sure they would be renting, then the lady ended up telling me that they havnt even got a release date for it and they dont when they would be getting the game, so this just kinda tops it off. oh well.

great news for me as i was worried when i'd get the money. now i have more time to get it, LOL. but jeez, backing off because theyre scared of the competition? put the bad review in that playstation mag and this delay release date together and i'm starting to have doubts.

The PC version is out in Holland. Tommorrow the PS2 version will be released. I haven't heard of a delay.

Tomorrow it will be released for PS2 in Holland. Today the PC version was released. I don't know about the other European countries, but we'll find out soon.

Actually, that's a point, Scott, you didn't mention what format the game was delayed.

I hope it's the PS2 version.

I just hope the PS2 makes it to the United States prior to mid-January. (That's when my birthday is.)

i think its both. But today is the 8th so anybody here in the UK thats just been on bought the game, correct me if im wrong.

But, ive just been on the HMV website and they have changed their release date for the PS2 too, 22nd of November aswell.

I went to several gameshops today and they told me that the PS2 version will be released later. The PC version is out now. I thought that the PS2 version would come out today. Guess I was wrong. We'll just have to wait a little bit longer.

I have been to my local game shop in town this lunch time and i asked the guy if he had it and he said NO....though i was sort of expecting it...its not a well known game shop but has many popular games...he did not know of a new release date only that it was due the end of this week he said 7th/8th...though Game Zone might know something, my local is in Norwich a little to far to go..are you near one Scott???

I could see if i can get to Newcastle tomorrow, go to HMV, Virgin and Game, see what they have.

I went in this morning to buy it for the PS2 coz i had it on pre order. The guy told me that it should have been in today but it hadnt arrived. He then found the updated release date for me, and it has indeed been pushed back to Friday 22nd November.

Hate to be the Devil's advocate here, but where did he find out the 'updated' release date from?

universal playback could do a better cover, and that's saying something! [img]images/smiles/icon_wink.gif[/img] saying that, it's not the cover that counts and by all means the game should be what we're thinking of. just don't think the cover's gonna help shelf-sales [img]images/smiles/icon_sad.gif[/img]

The guy at the shop told me. He had a whole pad full of release dates, and he told me that i'd be out on the 22nd.

Does anybody have any clues as to why its been delayed?

I would like to have seen a SPM cover of KITT on the box..with the purple background.
In the fun of things, im sure some wiz could come up with a rather snazzy cover and find a website to put it on...you then could print it off and cover the other one with it.....just an idea...lol

Ok i have created a Knight Rider Game cover [img]images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img] and i have it in 2 formats in BMP and JPEG.
I would like to e-mail this covers to someone to post them in the board.
