Yes well, Like I said, it was the IDEA of the voice box that was good in KR4000. The actual thing they produced turned out to look low budget, and unconvincing, and missed the aesthetic of a super advanced car completely.
That poor transition from concept to production was the whole big flaw in that movie in general. And thats why everyone always gripes about how bad it was.

Wassup, why did it seem like kitt's voice was more of a whisper during the first season.

Yes it did. KITT's voice was more robotic early on, then over the course of season 1, it became more life like. At the end of season 1 and beyond, his voice was the KITT voice we all know and love.
