Its one of my little gripes with the new series, I think the audience needs to see ki3t be indestructible without a hint of damage for the majority of the series in order for it to have real impact to Ki3t's character when something DOES go wrong.... I am not doubting that what the car has been subjected to so far would not damage it, just its too early in the lives of the characters involved and people new to knight rider wont be as invested in the idea of Ki3t's character because we're being shown the vulnerabilities of the machine/software on a weekly basis...
Jennifer Knight (ie. Wilton's daughter) wasn't Mike's mother. There is a thread around here somewhere where we speculated on Mike's conception dates -- it would have had to have been between September and November, 1982, realistically for a June '83 birth, so it was in one of Michael's "in-between" missions during the first 9 showsknightfever wrote:I certainly hope not. Yes. The reason why this type of AI was created in the first place is so that previously unforeseen factors could be taken into consideration by the AI, during a future confrontation. That is, without actually punching the code in. It's unlikely KITT will joke his way out a pinch anytime soon, but it's part of the same package.
