Hey Fuzzie!

The DreamScene wallpaper is just a snippit from the HD trailer From Inside Out that Neil posted, I cut the rest of the trailer out so I could just have the transformation, its not quite right though, in the trailer it fades in from black which looks weird on the desktop so i jumped a few frames forward, thats why Kitt never fully transforms back. All I did was stretch the aspect ratio and copied the clip, the second part is reversed so that it loops. It was rendered as a WMV to keep the size down , its 10mb, Ill be more than happy to send it to you, if you want it just shoot me a PM.

The screensavers are unfortunatly still a WIP, I thought I had them ready to give out to others, only some people have experienced lag with the video, Ive installed them on all the pc's Ive had in to repair in the last 2 weeks and whilst most were ok, 2 of the pcs showed weird trailing and graphical artifacts on screen, tbh Im flummoxed as to whats causing it, I think it could be codec problems but Im not sure. They work fine on the machine I made them on (the one in the vid) but Im reluctant to give them out in an unfinished state. Ive been trying allsorts of ways to make these compatible but with no luck as of yet. I really want to make them good and maybe I jumped the gun by showing them and then running into problems Hopefully I can get these just right and if anyone wants them they can have them by all means.

@weezl: I found that I can't get dreamscene for Vista Home Premium (not legally, and I like to keep my KITT clean ). That transform is cool though! Thanks for the info. Look for a PM. You might also want to google VirtualDub. I have it and it works with Vista. You can edit the video and add/remove frames etc. It's a free program.

If you need a beta tester for your screensavers, give me a shout. I could see how they look on my widescreen LCD Laptop. It also could be the video card in different computers. Video is rather difficult to work with sometimes.

The logo is still imperfect but I think it looks quite cool. If I get it better aligned I'll see about posting it so everyone can take a shot at a wallpaper using it.

Here's mine back in Feb when the movie/pilot premiered... and when I got a new computer. My computers get named with whatever fandom I'm in at the time. My old dell was Dalamar, my media dell was The Doctor, my laptop is Blumire, and my brand new dell is Kitt.

I dunno. I don't think it does. But then I haven't seen much pictures of a Mac OSX. The sidebar is in Vista now, with widgets you can drag to the desktop if you want. I have Object Dock Plus on the left side that pulls out and stores my icons in categories.

I actually like Vista over XP (I have an XP tower machine as well as a Win2K laptop). So far I've been using Vista *a lot*. I like the look, usability, stability.

Took the main shot from one of the video files neps posted a while back, added in the bg from the KR08 NBC site, eliminated the NBC logo and stuff too. Have this at work and at home right now.
