This movie should be made to re-introduce the KR mythology to the new generation and in another 20+ years time there will be another thread just like this.

I can still remember the commercial that NBC put on about the fan support for keeping Quantum Leap on the air. Believe it was the president of NBC giving a lecture as the air was filled with falling papers, slowly burying him at his desk. Each paper was a plea to keep the show going.

Whereas, I am reminded of a post from the past about the effect of digital petitions. Executive sees incoming spam. Doesn't look. Taps delete key. Moves on. Physical paper weighs a whole lot more then digital files and is harder to ignore.

Even though they say using the original 82 Trans Am "KITT" is not possible or having the Hoff and William Daniels. I say make it possible, fans want to see the "Original" KITT ride again, just like the "Original" General Lee rode again in the new Dukes of Hazzard movie.

Hey Guys...I just signed the petion too. And I have to say...I like the new show on nbc...but it can NEVER create the magic that the original series did. The only way to get that feeling back again is Glen Larson, The Hoff, And William Daniels...and I'm sorry but they do need to pull the old 82' Trans Am out of mothballs as well to pull this off. Even if it went straight to dvd...that cast and that CAR one more time would be amazing. We keep our classic cars running because they remind us of better days gone by...why not do the same thing when revisiting this TV ICON.

Oh you bet I signed this petition.
I dont get online much nowadays, but had to sign this petition for multiple reasons.
Knight Rider is, or I should say, WAS cool.

I cannot stomach what NBC have done with this new effort. It is utterly nauseating to watch, with no decent plot, too many excuses for shots of bikinis, two comedy side kicks/dweebs, new michael knight carrying guns, not too much mention of the Foundation for Law and Government now they take orders from the FBI and work for Knight Research(????), a ford mustang that really should have been a Transformer, and oh just in case I forgot, KARR WAS A T/A like KITT, NOT a roboty type thing!!!!!!!

PLEASE let Glen A. Larson get on with doing this right. It's about time.

I really do not understand why would fans need to sign anything like this to get a movie to be produced? Is like Spielblerg asking his fans to sign up for him to make Jurassic Park back before it was made or something in that order. I can understand this kind of campaign to try to bring back canceled TV shows or protest against something etc but a movie yet to be made if it even gets made at all?
