Yea, i was going to say... I just got Max 8 so I can teach myself, and I am going to college for Graphic Design. Well anyways that is pretty good. If you want to see some more good CGI, then go to cgtalk.com....

Guys, he will post when he has a chance. Let's cut him some slack. Pester too much and it's going to sour this for him, and might scare him off.
Good things come to those who wait...

I'm so sorry ... I seriously suck. But when gigs come up I have to do what pays the bills. Here's a little update (finally):

Your project is coming along beautifully! Kudos.
I'm intersted in hearing more about the TF gig you were working on...if you can share.

Whenever you have time to update, do so on your own time. You're doing fantastic!

Bills do come first though.

Okay, here's another little one. One of KITT's defining features:
Gotta work on how deep the license plate is in the bumper, but it's fun to see.

I can probably safely say I did some coloring for the "Giant Planet" poster. For those who've kept up with the current Transformers: Cybertron line, I colored the narrative scenes and the representative character. The poster won't be packaged with the toys any time real soon, but I'd assume within a month or two, they'll be hitting shelves. I'll let y'all know

Great work man.I have a few pics of the license plate that might make it more dead on.The license needs to be a bit wider in length and ashorter in width like this.
If you prefer I can work it in photoshop.

Dude, those last few pics of KITT look frikkin photo-realistic!
Am dead envious of your skills dude.
Did you draw your own license plate? I cheated - got a screengrab of KITT's rear, cropped the license plate and applied it as a map. A lot easier for me.

the car is getting better but is it easy to use 3dsmax

Knight Racer -
It's funny what perspective'll do. I think (and feel free to disagree) the plate is *close* to accurate dimensions:
I used an 83 Trans Am promotional image as my basis, so it should be close. I'm not happy with the silver holder deal, it's too sharp on the outside corners and about right on the inside ... more to fudge with another day
Knight2000 -
haha. I sort of half made my own. I messed with a screenshot in photoshop till I thought it looked good enough. But you can see by the above image, it's not *that* good.
ryytel -
I wouldn't say 3ds max is easy, but there are lots of tutorials out there. You definitely need patience.

I guess your right about the perspective.I just can't be 100% sure about it until I see it from a farther view.It looks OK from that shot.

Dude, looking sweet.
Not sure about the yellow colour. Sometimes the plate looks more amber and straight yellow. Small fix.
Anyhoo, what did you end up doing for the tyres? Coz I found the sweetest, simplest tutorial for making your own tyres. Can't remember where but it's very simple. Will try and find it for ya.
EDIT: found it
clicky.
Actually, looking around this guy's website, there are quite a few things that might help with your project.
