I just got my ertl rc2 kitt for christmas and the battery went dead. I got some LR44 batteries for it and it will not turn on. I have put all the batteries flat sided at the top. does anybody know what i am doing wrong.

Just tighten the screws some more in a careful manner. The batteries inside may just be a bit loose. I had the same problem once when I peeked inside the compartment when it was new. I had to reinsert and tighten the lid several times in order for me to get mine working.
