How do I get it to look just as good as the box?I need glue and paint.I have no idea what is the best to use for a model since I only put 1 model together a 2000 trans ammwhich smells bad form overpaint and the tires are glued stiff.Any suggestions would be great.

well for starters NONE of the 3 issues of the Knight 2000 aka KITT had a decal sheet. So your okay there as for tips to make your KITT stand out, i did a very detailed thread that shows you section by section to make your KITT model stand out, i even call out the names of the colors you will need for each section.

KITT modeling tips just scroll down my tips start about halfway in the thread and go to the bottom, i cover interior, engine and drivetrain, wheels, and body, and final detailing. if you have ANY questions feel free to email me or Instant Mesage me, my names are in my profile. Hope I can help a fellow KR fan build a respectable KITT 8)

Knight Racer - Dave is right, and has helped give me tips on building mine. I have THREE of these model kits, and one I hope to do into KARR (3rd season, black/silver) and maybe the third into KARR 3rd season black or maybe something else, dunno yet. Anyway, after I finish up the finishing touches on Trigger, the Smokey and the Bandit Trans Am model I am nearly done with, I plan to start on the AMT/Ertl KITT cars. Maybe we can compare notes?

Look at my Knight Rider Databank site (link below) as I have the kits there, and will be posting info on how I build them up.

Dave - Thanks from me as well for the link to that thread. I think I'm going to be printing that info out and keeping it handy with my other build notes for these models. :)
