Lucifer (Baltar's IL-unit mentor/slave of sorts) had a red robe.
Specter, Lucifier's IL-unit counterpart (and supposedly his "evil twin" of sorts) had a gold robe. Let's for the sake of this thread consider it "yellow" though a metallic yellow, even though it's more gold than yellow.
Anyway, KITT's scanner is red. KARR's is yellow.
See the similarities?
Bet that was accidental. But interesting nonetheless!KARR got luckier though in Knight Rider. He was in the show twice. Specter was only in Battlestar Galactica once that I remember (in the original 70s series).
