Questions about making my own Knight rider mustang

Post by blackthorntk » Wed Mar 17, 2010 6:08 pm

I own a Mustang coupe v6 unfortinitly where I live many people are getting rid of there v8's do to the constant stop and go traffic and gas cost in hawaii so I had to go that route. I would of gotten a GT but oh well I found a Mustang
coupe that was GT modded a bit witch is cool. Anyways I have a few questions on how I would get by in making
my car just perfect for the replica I know they use the Cervini body kits. But I can't tell witch ones they used actually.

Part's I do know I need:
05-09 type IV hood
the grills with the logo on the left hand side and one lower one to match.
the C series lower side scoop and window scoop that parts i know
But for the lower bumper front and back I can't tell witch ones they are and if any other
subjustions on the body parts if any of you guys know I'll gladly apriciate the help and links you may send
and of course it wont be complete without taoworm2323 awsome kitt 3000 mod witch I'm saving up for now hehe.

I do know if i get that particular hood I should get the ram air kit with it as it's been subjusted allot in many sites. the only other thing I have to work on is the interrior like the metal top dash and the colored side doors. witch will be the next part i will be working on thanks

oh ok i definitly will heck I wonder how much this project is going to be but it will be worth it :D. especially being the only guy in the future witha mustang kitt replica hehe. out of all the mustangs i seen down here for the 2005 up not many are modded they are factory made and not to many of them have anything added kinda sad really. Yes I agree i seen his work Taoworm2323 is by far the best crafter for the lights and orb. no one else has the orb just a on screen monitor and thats it :/. but him having the whole dash as a screen to kinda would be difficult what would u do with a screen facing sideways lol. i

The parts I bought so far are:
-GT500 front bumper/facia including both grills, fog lights, headlights, brake duct bezels
-GT500 rear bumper (same as the California Special bumper only lower part on the sides is painted)
-Shelby Alcoa 20" rims and tires
-Ford Racing axle-back exhaust (same as the GT500KR's)
-Trufiber Venom hood (for GT500 front end)
-Taoworm's scanner
-Mustang Pony Package rear spoiler
-vinyl stripes
There are no side window louvers on KITT. Also there are no side scoops in front of the rear wheels behind the door (I will be removing mine soon).
KNIGHT RIDER RELOADED is a series of movies on Youtube to represent a different creative avenue to the Knight Rider we knew in 2008-09.
