After watching that interview he states some things that intrigue me:
-He states down the line the door is wide open in terms of guest stars and people coming later, (Michael Knight?)
-Also the fact there will be some secrets revealed about KITT, maybe this has to deal with the original KITT?

Just as long as the "secrets" about KITT doesn't include the new KITT actually being the original KITT or anything like that.
The new and again improved evil's advertisement is currently too long and too badass to display here. But let's just say that with now 50% more evil, this **** is great!

It has always been my belief that KI3T is not KITT and that they are two seperate entities entirely. KITT's actual fate is still undetermined.
Theories include him remaining with Michael, him being the AI in the Prometheus project. Whatever happened to KITT i at least hope he gets the respect he deserves from the writers etc and the events they come up with in the timeline. ie. Not being dismantled as if he were nothing as they did (to everyones distaste) in KR2000
