NBC synopsis

Post by pheonix_knight » Sat May 24, 2008 10:37 am

im not sure what movie the synopsis writers were watching when they described KR08 but the blackriver guys were NOT after KI3T because they didnt even know it exsisted until they discovered it whilst searcing for info on PROMETHEUS

seems a bit odd the blurb saying KI3T was the coolest car in the world and 'someone was willing to do anything to get it' (paraphrasing...

heres some questions, Charles had already built Ki3t and wanted MT to drive it and these instructions were already programmed into the car before the guys broke in

so if they hadnt broken in, what was Ki3t's purpose and when was MT going to be approached???

and ive just realised as im typing that i refer to Kitt as a 'he' or 'him' but cant seem to get attached to the new one so i still refer to ki3t as 'it...'

nice car, not as loveable though

Ha, funny, I will possess you heart just came on the radio as I’m typing. Yes, I always have to go back and change my its to hes. He deserves it. “You gotta spend some time love, You gotta spend some time with him, and I know that you’ll find, love, KI3T will possess your heart.

I think Charles always did have Mike in mind for the job; he might have even been inspired to build the new car when he saw Mike come back from the army and take up race car driving. And if that wasn’t enough to motivate him I think he also felt he had some responsibility to Mike as a father. After all it’s Charles’ fault Mike is missing one. So maybe he felt he should build him a car to protect him as well as for protection of his daughter. But once the FBI got involved with the car I’m sure they were planning on using an agent. If it wasn’t for Sarah’s rescue, I have a feeling Charles might not have gotten his way, even though he had temporarily programmed the car for Mike. Why would the FBI be interested in an in debt and out of control race car driver? If you watch the pilot again, watch Carrie. You know in her head she is thinking, “Charles had mentioned some reckless race car driver as an option and I had my doubts, but wow, this guy is awesome!” She keeps her eye on him in all the fight scenes. She and Charles obviously had some conversation before the limo scene where she admits Charles was right and this is the kid for the job.

its NOT charles' fault MK wanted to do it, it was wiltons vision that drove MK, Kitt was just the icing originally...

another tangent, Devon specifically points out that "michael arthur long" was the intended driver in the pilot...

so how was he chosen and what were the methods for picking him?? (which im assuming would be the same for MT's recruitment....)
