OK I had the best list of mistakes and review on TDR and I had intentions for people to post in pics of KVK and add on to the list of mistakes I made but what drove me nuts was I spent 1 hour doing the whole thing taking down times of mistakes and everything but then.... I started to add a poll and then..... i pressed add option..... then everything went blank

waHHHHHHHHH. Well I am going to have to start my review again but I will put the pictures down that I collected while I was making it. Any pictures from TDR are welcome but I especially am after pictures or scenes from KVK.
Here we have:
THE VOICE MODULATOR KARR WAS GIVEN
Now from what I know KARR was the prototype of KITT so I would have guessed that the voice modulator that KARR had should have looked older than KITT's well I guessed he should probably have had the same as KITT's flashing box. BEHOLD KARR'S VOICE MODULATOR (OLD)
Now when KARR goes off the edge of the cliff at the end we know universal wouldn't have just chucked a KITT off the edge of a cliff they used footage from another movie which I have forgotton the name of and somebody told me in another topic I think the movie was just called "the car" anyway I freeze framed through where it looks like KARR going quickly towards the edge of the cliff but... see for yourself (this took a lot of time and freeze framing)
Now I will go into the desert and work with KITT to finish this review....
POST YOUR PICKS AND CLIPS FROM TDR AND KVK
BYE

People will reply when they have something to contribute.
This is a topic that has been discussed many times, so they might not have anything new to add. The shot that isn't KARR going over the cliff is some reused footage from a movie called "The Car"

I remember "The Car". I don't remember The Car flying off a cliff and crashing into a beach. I remember the car falling into a canyon and the police officers blowing up the car before hitting the group (with the apparent image of the Devil in the glames).

Hi,
Yes it is on DVD, not that I have it personally but I have seen it in stores and online.
Are you from the UK or America?

If you like old school horror films and movies like 'Christine' you should see it.
But it's not up to the same quality as 'Christine', IMO.

I always thought it was funny that you could see KITT bouncing down a split second after the climactic explosion. Clearly neither of those cars won that confrontation
I think it's funny that they (they being the art directors on KR) got the idea for altering KITTs voice modulator from KARR's ...

The voice modulator thing can be explained very easily. When KARR was built, there wasn't any rush. He was probably being built for the former FLAG agent that was killed (mentioned in Knight of the Drones). But KARR didn't work out, and then the agent was killed, so KARR decommissioned and the whole FLAG project was put on hold until they found Michael. When Michael was found, Wilton started up the FLAG project again and started construction of KITT (probably using Michael's Trans Am as a base). However, Wilton was near death, and he knew it, so they were a bit rushed. KITT's final voice modulator was just not ready yet, the blinking square one was probably just something they threw together quickly so KITT would be able to talk until the final one was finished. He got it a little less than halfway through season 1, once it was completed. So the answer is simple. KITT was rushed a little more and put out in the field before all of the components were ready, while they took their time building KARR because Wilton's death wasn't yet imminent.
I do wonder if the FLAG agent that was killed ever drove KARR. I think the possibility is very good, but it was never mentioned one way or the other. Makes you wonder if his death was before or after KARR was decommissioned, or if KARR was involved in any way (it's certainly possible).

The use of "The Car" had to be the all time cheapest move in the series, I mean the least they could have done was edit out that shot that everyone is posting and use one of KITT going down a hill or something!
Also, they could have used a KITT car that was previously wrecked or any other black car with a little more resemblence to KITT, instead of that big bulky "Car" from the movie... Even easier would have been to use a model...
Also, I'm pretty sure the end of KVK used models, you can really tell by the silver blotch in the middle of the wheels... And yes, why didn't they edit out the tumble of both cars on the lower part of the screen, they had some smoke special effects, just not enough to cover them up...
