For me it will always be the original. I have given the new KR a chance, but it in no way compares to the original. It is not even close. For me it was the transformations on the KR08, and the idea of KARR being a huge transforming robot just doesn't even appeal to me.

Absolutely perfect! :D Far better than Val Kilmer will ever be on KITT's voice. Like, I said before in other threads, I like Val as a actor in films, but I do not find him appealing on KITT's voice. He still seems way too robotic and not believable enough. No matter how anyone tries, no one will fil...

I actually was kinda looking forward to seeing with what they were going to do in this first episode. But, within the first 20 minutes of it, it kinda turned into disappointment. It was downright pathetic! Too many characters and too many storylines floating around. I didn't get where Mike Traceur t...

I agree with some of the things being said in this thread. There seems to be too much going into the show as it is. Too many people and too many story lines within the show. But, for a shorter version of what I would like to be improved on is this: 1. Get rid of the truck mode and all of the transfo...

Technically speaking there is a gap between the end of the old KR and the new KR. In david's biography, he said the "Scent of the Roses" was supposed to be the final episode of KR. But, I think due to the powers that be at NBC at the time, it ended up being "Voodoo Knight". I rea...

I really do hope it works out where the Hoff can be on KR a lot more. As I've said before he was definitely one of the reasons the show was so popular in the 80s, and he deserves to be a part of the new KR too.

I would think it was a stunt or someone real stupid. For the powers that be that have the keys in the ignition was not a smart thing. Or not having not the right security at this event would be another. But, at least KR got some publicity out of the deal.

I have to agree. I'm not too overly impressed with the globe voice box. I'm thinking that they could use a similar design like the original KITT had. Either that or use something similar to the one in the pilot.

I think it all depends on how the series treats it. In the new pilot he is known as Mike Traceur, not Michael Knight. They'll probably have some explanation on that when the series airs, hopefully. But, when I think of Michael Knight, I think of the HOFF. So, I guess we'll all see when it airs this ...

In the Goliath Returns episode, you do see guards around there when Garthe was busting in at the Foundation. Except, they were overwhelmed. Not enough guards to handle Garthe's mean bunch. I do think the Foundation did have a security system too, because when Michael and Kitt was coming back to the ...

We haven't seen the bigger picture yet! I'm sure a lot of things that have been picked out from previews and promos will make much more sense in the finished product! I hope you are right, because it sure seems like everyone connected with this new show is way off target. But, I do plan on watching...

I just think what they are trying to do is to be 20 years into the future like the original KITT was. I will have to say that I'm not impressed with the transforming thing. Because, to me, that has already been done with Transformers. They are just trying to copy that into this format. And I have to...
