I just had a thought, maybe the keys are just for looks? I mean I'd like to see if Kitt ever got pulled over by a cop, I'd like to see Michael try and explain how he can have a running car/driving that car, with no keys in the ignition.

Did they trade the keys for a push ignition, I remember in that episode where Michael's pretending of been suspended, he kept pressing a button to start Kitt up.

How about the semi driving on the wrong side of the road? Unless the film was flipped or something, but I remember several times where they show Kitt backing out, and theres like a barrier type thing between the semi and the camera truck.

Alot of fans would love to see Karr come back in the movie, but the problem is, he'd have to explained, I mean for someone that's never seen Knight Rider, or TDR and KvK, you can't simply stick him in the middle of the movie, and assume that person'll go 'Oh, that's Karr, Kitt's evil twin brother'. ...

Well, also, if Karr had been just reprogrammed, then Kitt probably wouldn't of existed in the first place, cause they'd then have no reason to build another car.

what I never got about KvK was, where the HELL was Kitt's programming in that last scene? I mean Karr's sitting there shooting a laser that could destroy Kitt at them, and then the final head on turbo boost. Why at no point did Kitt ever eject Michael from the cab, or try take control or SOMETHING, ...

i picked KITT winning. and here is my reasoning... KITT would win on any challenge with KARR, because KARR's primary function thing is self preservation, and he wouldn't want to die, or fall to pieces, so he'd always chicken out at the last second. therefore, KITT would always win in those instance...
