The attack, although outwardly very different, doesnt actually have the gt500kr engine underneath. Nor does it need it as most of the scenes featuring it are going to be using sped up footage. I'd imagine in reality, the Attack Kitt is heavier than the standard car as well as having a smaller power...

I thought the same. The standard Mustang even looks sleeker because the hood is not so high and the front grill is smaller and has a different shape. And does not have the matt black stripes.
