The link was in a message for another CD site for an 87 Firebird called RedRaif. It's linked on my CD site. The RedRaif is a little on the flashy side, but it's interesting work none the less. Gotta love the voice box replacing the center a/c vents on the dash. :D

Now maybe if they took a 3rd gen and made it look all mean and bad @$$ like this one, it would be good enough for the feature film. For those of you out there who would want to see a 3rd gen T/A used in the new film 8)

Yeah, sweet car. I love the 95s. Tried to post on your cardomain page but couldn't remember my login password, d'oh. I keep all this stuff written down so I had to dig out my big book of passwords. I love the interior on your car. It is beutifull. I though about doing a red interior on mine. [/quote]

that is totally sweet. That the same style hood I was thinking of adding last year. Mad props for keeping the 1992 T/A ground effects. If only GM made a ram air option for the third gens this could have been Kitt! :D

Don't worry it is not a dumb question. GM has so many performance codes it's not even funny. I'm still trying to figure out what Pontiac's WS7 performance package consists of :D. Your current 'bird sounds like its a 1SA option code. The only resaon I know is because I tried to get a 1998 Firebird se...

Actually WannabKnight, the original Kitt was a WS6 as well. For the 3rd gen the performance package just contained a stiffer sport suspension with sway controll bars added. No ram-air  though! They were most common on the Formula Firebirds but the 1982 Recaro Trans Am LE had it too :D. My 92 pr...

But you have to understand that right now, the largest group of automobile drivers are older, Baby Boomer-era drivers. They want cars that remind them of their youth. Thus, you will be noticing retro designing for the next 5-10 years, most likely. That's cool so long as GM remembers me in the next ...

I gotta say 'Knight in shinning armor' was a good one for me, hope that's the episodes name :? . Forgive me, it's been something like 10 years since I've seen this episode. Anyway, the episode where at the end MK and Kitt end up inside a mountain with the fake diamonds all shimmering and pretty like...

I would love to have auto- tinting windows. You know like some people have on their glasses. They darken in sunlight and are normal in the dark. I want tinted windows on my T/A but when I drive at night with some of my friends that have tinted window I can't see jack :x ! Someone needs to come up wi...

GM made literally 100s of 1000s of the 3rd gen cars. They are not rare. Granted Kitts 1982 Recaro edition LE is, any model 82-92 can easily become one, ebay is a wonderfull thing for auto parts :D . Also, being F bodies they are relatively easy to restore and they are really cheap now. I don't think...

Amidst a lot of rumors it looks like Firebird may not be dead just yet. GM plans to continue the Firebird/Camaro line on their new Sigma, Cadilac Cattera, based platform. I guess they just plan on killing the F-body platform but not the cars themselves. First they roll out a substandard yuppified GT...

How about getting modern artists to do covers of various 80s songs that were featured in the show. Like Shania Twain covering Laura Branigan's 'Self control' or something like that. Could work too.

Ok the imagery of Jackie Chan ordering KITT around and telling him what to do is priceless. Yeah, I guess it would because it would be pretty incoherant :D ! A system condition indicator totally makes sense. Maybe it was an attempt to inject a little realism into the dash later on in the shows run. It could also have been a little more eye- wash added to the dash to make it look flashier too.

Depends on if GM's backing the new film or not I guess. Like the new GTO in xXx 2, if GM can create some stir about a new product you know darn well that we will be saturated by the new Kitt 2.0 as the release of the film draws near. I have a feeling that Kitt will be something we can't possibly ima...

Great find, but some members of this board don't count the novels as actual cannon. I don't know why, since most were written by Glen Larson, but since most concepts never made it to the small screen they are not excepted. Just like Paramount is with Star Trek. I always assumed that auto pilot was a...

I always thought that the writers might have wised up because isn't it revealed in 'Trust doen't rust' that Kitt and Karr use two different scanning methods. We all know that kitt uses IR (infra-red), hence the red scanner light, but doesn't karr use something else. He talk an awfull lot about kitt ...
