The speed difference is most likely just because the videoclip may be from PAL version
I think there's 4% speed difference, PAL version running faster than NTSC.
Really love watching whatever videos Knight Rider Historians release, super interesting stuff
Back in the old days when I had the Geocities web page, used to have edited pic of 3rd gen Camaro as KITT there. When I have time, I'll have to look my backups if I could find it and post it. Well, haven't found it, but decided to make a new photo using a Hotwheels 1/64 scale 3rd gen Camaro. This i...
Here's few comparison shots between Hotwheels Elite KITT model and this IXO 1982 Pontiac Trans-Am model, both 1/43 scale: https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51178294881_c472bc0adb_h.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51179389400_aa54975696_h.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51179389380_...
Not official Knight Rider merch, but an ordinary black & gold Pontiac Firebird Trans-Am in 1/43 scale, made by IXO. Isn't this basically Michael Long's Trans-Am seen in the Pilot, before Tanya Walker shot him in the face?
Sometimes there are models released, which clearly needed some additional work before release, like this 2nd gen Pontiac Firebird from BoS (Best of Show). Look at the rear end of this one: https://bucket.carmodel.com/images/cm-lg/93513_2-1.jpg Usually BoS models are nice ones, I don't know why they ...
Beautiful model, very nicely detailed The little roof hatch is easy to do, just glue there some black square plastic piece, slightly rounded edges and that'll do it
Wow, that is very cool news Hopefully that Knight semi truck model will become available in European modelshops too.
Do you have 1/43 scale KITT model? Would be nice to see KITT and the Knight semi model together
Yes, that's what I was meaning by "not the most accurate" model. For example, if ERTL and Hotwheels could do it, I wonder why Jada didn't make even the license place right? Perhaps licensing issue? Maybe the license for fully accurate Knight Rider model might be very expensive as the show ...
Looking at the instrument panel, looks pretty worrying as engine coolant temp is at the red hot scale, Check Engine light is on, Airbag light is on and fuel tank is almost empty
Perhaps the electrical shock cleared KITT's memory, maybe separate unit from the CPU, but when Michael replaced the CPU unit, the memory still had power and he was able to remember both Michael and Doug? Maybe Bonnie added memory to the replacement CPU unit so KITT would remember his past before the...
Did some Knight Rider style driving in Forza Motorsport 7 with the 2017 Camaro in the game :D Haven't done any KITT mods to these pics, they are straight out from the game: Turbo boost: https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/50790868763_5ae9df8cb0_k.jpg Powerslide around a corner: https://live.staticfl...
Lots of great songs in Knight Rider episodes. Generally I like the 80's pop hit songs, like Laura Branigan's Self Control, Cruel Summer by Banararama, Owner of a Lonely Heart by Yes, Jump by Pointer Sisters, Telefone by Sheena Easton, etc. Someone has even made a channel "Knight Rider FM" ...
Visited local toy shop and there was this 1/32 Jada Toys KITT models available, so decided to buy it for my Knight Rider collection :) Here's few pics: Box: https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/50743484812_f81fa94153_b.jpg Frontview, in the box. Love the photo in the background, fireball suggests it'...
4th gen Trans-Am might look pretty nice as a "next gen" KITT, if the original 1982 KITT must be updated: https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/50695509658_4fe864e96d_h.jpg Played some Forza Motorsport 7 with my Xbox One S, took this photo and slightly edited it to look like 4th gen TA KITT :D
Maybe NEPS, the site owner could visit in this thread and tell the story, how and when did KRO start :) I think it's from 1995, but I don't know the exact date. Anyway, Happy 25th Anniversary KRO :) Personally, I remember reading KRO since, maybe 1999, at first in internet cafe's. Joined originally ...
Maybe KITT's CPU was like computers and control modules in modern cars, they probably expect to see some other control modules and actuators at the end of the CAN bus to work properly? Test drive just to verify that everything works :) Have been watching a lot of car repair videos at Youtube, and th...
If Knight Rider continued to this day, I wonder how the music would've changed in the episodes? Maybe for example a "Soul Survivor" hypnotic music in the 2000's would've sounded something like this? :D https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M8SYYrUpO-8 (Well, it's trance music, hence a good one f...
Stumbled upon an episode of "Touched by an Angel" at Youtube, episode called "Birthmarks" from 1996. It had William Daniels as a guest star, character named "Whit", which almost sounds like "KITT" and surprise surprise, there was also character called "Mi...
Wow, very nicely done, sounds great! Brings some of the early 1st season episode scores in mind
A while ago watched a video series from Dr. Mix youtube channel who reconstructed the Knight Rider theme with his synthesizer equipment and bass quitar: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZELOnDwPNkM
Pretty interesting project. Hopefully they'll post more videos as progress is being made. Would be interesting to know what's rattling inside that engine
I guess underneath the base car is 1990-1994 Mitsubishi Eclipse / Eagle Talon / Plymouth Laser?
It's actually huge 1:8th scale - the cars on the top shelf of that display case are 1:18th scale. Given the dimensions of a standard Trans-Am, at 1:8th scale it would be around 61cm (24 inches) in length. It seems like it will be released as a kit in a weekly part-work magazine. It has been trialle...
