Some time ago, I heard about this scientist and his group working on a car that could drive by itself. Basically, they installed a computer with software into the trunk of the car and installed electromagnetic sensors on the bottom of the car in order for it to sense electromagnets that were install...

From what I've been told, KITT's interior isn't as good. That the dashboard has been drawn and written on by people who have gotten a chance to sit in the car.

Actually, I thought of it being more of a compact thing. Maybe something like A.M.E.E. from "Red Planet". Something that can fit into a confine space and be ready for use when needed.

Actually, for the "Knight Rider" "film" series ideas I had for the "Producer's Chair" game, I thought about KITT having a special robotic body that he could download himself into, so he would be able to go into areas that his normal car body couldn't go into (like the t...

Addition to Speedbreaker's info- The car they used in "The Wraith" was in fact a prototype by Dodge called the Turbo Interceptor (which costed at the time $6 million to make). There were six "clones" of the car made (which totalled to $1 million dollars per "clone"). Al...

Behind the scenes photos of the episode. An interactive Trivia game for the episode with KITT as your host (for DVD...

Well, that doesn't really count much. A dealership and the technicians at a dealership aren't connected to Ford as a whole. I mean, a dealership is like McDonalds. Companies supply the meat, buns and whatnot for their fast food. It's the same way with Ford and dealerships. Ford HQ supplies the deale...

What is it with you guys and Fords? I mean, I know that they used Fords in TKR, but that's not enough to actually have a lot of hatred towards Ford. Ford has made a lot of American classics. And I also agree that the GT90 is a very good looking car (though I would rather see KITT in the prototype 20...

Some films still use models. For example, "Independence Day", for the scenes where we see Washington, L.A., and New York destroyed, the buildings and cars are in fact models.

Well, if you're going to make KITT CGi, you might as well make the whole movie CGI ala "Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within" and "The Animatrix: The Final Flight of the Osiris" (short film). The funny thing is that with such CGI films (as mentioned) have a funny way of fooling your...

Ashton appears to be quite smart whenever you see him on his MTV show "Punk'd", which he in fact created himself. And I must admit, he is good at creating the scenarios for his show (I liked it when he punked Justin Timberlake. Too bad that in his contract, he's not allow to punk Britney S...

You know, you're right about the PONTIAC on the trunk, it IS a bit "flat". I didn't think about that.

I will most definetly see if the dremmel tool I found is more than a 3 speed first before I decide to go shopping around. :)

Thanks for the help. :D

I don't know about hobby stores. However, Michaels, Wal-Mart and Toys R Us are the only stores that I know of that carry models (in Valdosta, which is 23 miles north of my home town, where as Tallahassee is 50 miles west). I'm not sure if any of them do that ordering thing.
