i think its two lights because i can see where the bulb is on each of them.

The red ones on the back I think maybe because they were fairly wide it could have helped passing cars at night. I think it looks good like that. I didn't think it was a brake light.

Notice how it has two indicator lights on the side and two side break lights. I don't understand why they had those on cars back then, today we have a side indicator up near the door and that's it.

WOW i never knew that! Looks like in the bottom picture KITT doesn't have T-Tops!

maybe the engine was too big for the hood to close. Yeah the bar is for towing.

Dad says to check the flap inside the box whichever one that is the packing or the KITT box. But I guess it doesn't matter.

900th POST!!

looks like an original KNIGHT plate. So are the hudcaps. But the nose looks like a new one because there are no cut outs where the lights go yet.

Dad says he put it in the box, check the package it came in and the box the R/C KITT came in.

It is a flat hood KITT. Its changed though now it has the cowel induction with the driving lights.
