Re: The Comtron Building Location Disclosed - Finally

I've been unable to find anymore photos of this place anywhere. I'm currently scanning the roadway around the golf course that is just a stone's throw away from "Comtron" to see if I can match the scene with the tow truck, but so far it doesn't seem to be the same golf course.

Re: The Comtron Building Location Disclosed - Finally

That access road into the complex must have been the path the tow truck took with KITT to get the angle of the building correctly. There were far less trees in the 80s though.

Re: House Of The Rising Sun Location Disclosed

[quote="iGav] ComTron – The Main Building Location: to be disclosed 01-01-2013 Now that's just being plain naughty… Do you actually know where it is, or is it something that you'll be researching over the coming year? How about throwing us a crumb or two if you do happen to know its location? I...

Re: House Of The Rising Sun Location Disclosed

I'm in total agreement iGav. That's why I pointed out that house in my post (how you could see it in the lower right of the arial). The roof shape is dead on and your street view confirms it. Your illustration is pretty clear to me as far as the parking lines and whether or not that is the same hous...

Re: House Of The Rising Sun Location Disclosed

I'm ready to say good job 1982!!! I just wish we could find an old photo of it from the front when it still existed. I've scowered images and have come up empty so far. All I get are cotton mills and tennessee stuff, nothing even remotely close to that building. Hopefully someone will dig up a photo...

Ok, here is a color photo of that area as it looks today: http://img683.imageshack.us/img683/6396/housetoday.jpg The large red arrow is pointing to the corner of the building where it looks like the House. The small red arrow is pointing to where the Tiki style a-frame used to be. The next pic is th...

Re: Southern Knights 2011

We had a presentation room where we all got to listen to the guests speak about their careers on the show as well as other things they are doing now. We also had displays set up from various people who brought in their collections. You've already seen the original miniature KITT and chemical anyaliz...

Re: Locations ?

The House of the Rising Sun seems to be the elusive unicorn. I've been hunting it up for the last few months myself. I don't know what you guys are using to search for it, but I'm an architectural major and that building is what's known as "A-Frame" architecture. It is mostly used in the c...

Re: Finally Available-An Affordable Comlink Watch

You really should contact the seller (Mark) if you are having problems with your watch. I have two of these and mine do not have this problem. Complaining about it on a message board will get you little or no results. FYI, you are better off to contact the source.

Re: Was the Knight 4000 controversial?

I was 12 when Knight Rider 2000 aired on TV. I was a huge fan of Knight Rider even though I was only a child. But, to me and even my dad said back when we watched it, that it was the death of Knight Rider. The deathly music, the horrible story line and that red car. I just felt it wasn't right. I've...

Re: KITT car poll PART II

I am a huge fan of the new Camaro and I will own one when they are released. It's been my intention since they first hit the news. I've been following that car ever since, just waiting to put one in my driveway. I was stoked to see a rendition of it moving on the streets in Transformers. I think tha...

I disagree, The original KITT Trans am had a new front nose, spoiler, blackouts, window tint, modified scoop hood, and slightly modified rims added and was also lowered more to the ground then a stock Trans Am off the assembly line. They didn't just slap in a scanner light in the front and start sh...

I voted for a "one of a kind/unseen custom concept" I realize it's expensive to do so, but it absolutely catches audiences attention or at least mine when you see something on screen that you cannot purchase for yourself and it makes it more magical I think. I think back to the movie "...

Looks great, but I think the scanner needs to be much thinner. What is it with these wide scanners all of a sudden? Incidentally, I still can't believe that the car went from THAT to the 4-door family sedan they call a Charger. I remember when that concept came out and I thought it had "Trans A...

I say something else. Although, my 305 LG4 isn't too shaby with a crane cam, accel ignition system and a two stage shift kit. I'm pretty sure it pushes more than 150 hp. Besides...I think the stock hp rating for an LG4 was 185 hp anyway. At least that's what I read in Pontiac Performance one time. F...
