I think that commercial was for mens underwear. I seem to remember it used a lot of clips of different popular ( at that time) male celebs. I think Patrick Duffy of DALLAS was in that commercial too.

OK, we all love the cool things KITT can do. But there was a lot more action on screen. The stuntmen and women, worked with cars, trucks, motorcycles, helicopters, horses, fist fights, and a whole lot more! Great work guys.
