Its in great mechanical shape(of course we spent $2,500 to get it in top shape) The only thing it needs now is the conversion parts or would just make a great Firebird with...

so instead of buying a Knight Rider console..use the one I have now and make my own?? That sounds good too...I can't seem to find the cowl hood around here.. sigh... The hood I have now only has the bra on it because the paint is chipping pretty bad in one spot.

For now it will be external only..I might add a voicebox and a lower console but not extensive like the real Kitt..also leaving the top as is..I have kids so I can't make it a two seater...

After 3 long months with my car in the shop for not passing emmissions, he is home...now maybe I can start finding someone to put my nose and scanner on..It will be a while before I get the car painted but thats ok.. Mine will be a Kitt convertible..At first I wanted to do the t-top because that is how people most remember Kitt and when I tell people the car will be Kitt,people tell me "But Kitt wasn't a convertible" :roll: I will still keep the backseats so my kids can ride.It won't be an exact replic...

I finally got an inspection sticker yesterday to be exact.The car was in the shop from June until now because it wouldn't pass emissions. I was quite surprised being that is was 92. It came from Florida where there is no inspection at all. I do have Todd's old nose but haven't even open it up to see...
