Hey guys, DiecastDirect.com has KITT and other Joyride vehicles for $26.99. I ordered KITT and Christine last SUNDAY, and they arrived by 10:30am yesterday morning. I highly recommend them to you guys. Of course, I'm a newb, so my opinions/suggestions will go unheard as usual.

To be honest, I was NEVER that interested in the KARR model to begin with. It's really just the same Trans Am, only with that silver stripe on the bottom and the white lettering on the tires, which looks really shabby to me. Can you believe some people on Ebay are paying over $100 for this?! That's really insane when you think about it. I guess some people have even LESS patience than we do about this car. LOL

I went ahead and preorderd KITT and Christine. Both are supposed to be out this week. I can't wait!

Big deal, so the pedals aren't precisely the way they should be. We all know this model is not 100% accurate. I'm just happy the car will be available at all! This genration Firebird has always been my favorite, and it's about time Ertl is making it available for us. Especially as KITT first!

MonstersinMotion.com which is a local drive for me lists the date as December 15. I tried emailing Joyride from their contact list, but the idiots haven't replied back. I just want to be able to go to a store and pick it up without having to buy online!

And you guys all thought Ertl's KITT would suck! Well, neener neener neener! I knew all along Ertl would pull through!

I'm not 100% sure, but I think all the lights would only eat at your battery instead of guzzling any of your gas.

If people are really THAT desperate about the orange foglights, they can just use a black Sharpie marker to block them out.

I'm still getting the Ertl KITT of course, and I'll wait until Ertl produces KARR. Aoshima's price is just a bit steep for me. I remember reading SOMEWHERE in this thread that one of the official replies from Ertl was that they were going to produce a KARR as well, just not right away. Am I wrong? :...

You know what's interesting? Everyone who's carrying the 1:18 KITT for Pre-Order slates a November release. Everyone but Entertainmentearth.com, they have their release date for January! This is driving me nutso!
