Re: Knight Rider engine question
Yeah, seems to favor KI3T. I remember KI2T having radar/sonar and an In-Seat Medical Diagnosis for starters.

Re: Knight Rider engine question
I'm going for KI2T in terms of raw power. Two things. One is the turbojet and modified afterburner combination and the other is the time periods those cars came from. Having originated in the 80s, KI2T was conceived as the car of the future. If you were to follow the futurists back then (up to the m...

Re: What are these buttons for?
Oil could also be the oil release function.. but those are most likely status lights if you consider the way they are grouped. P1-P4 could be similar to the D1-D4 gear sets in automatic trans vehicles As for the function buttons: 6 rm - Recon Mode? P eng - Pursuit Engine? I don't know, but eng screa...

Re: 1:43 KITT
But I really wish that Hot Wheels could've at least included some electronics for a light up scanner on their 1/43 KITT... Would indeed be nice if they had made that as an alternate/SDCC version. That would take the top spot on my display case. Wouldn't want the feature for my storage pieces though...

Re: New Hot Wheels KARR
I don't think they've made one with the amber scanner. That's one of the reasons why I've been passing on KARR. I might get the 1/43 elite if it is accurate.

Re: FLAG Mobile Unit Question and a couple of others
I bought mine from Ebay years ago. It needs a little dusting. http://s23.beta.photobucket.com/user/Speedy2056/media/DSCF4659_zpscb5fc0ec.jpg.html?sort=3&o=0" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Hehe, at least that's all that needs to be done. Btw, is the Goliath from your av...

Re: 1:43 KITT
Got another 1/43 today (to open and display). Was supposed to get a 1/18, but am now unsure after reading all the reviews. The quality is pretty much consistent with my "sealed" KITT (had to take a peep inside to make sure everything is intact and the car is still on its plinth) apart from...

Re: FLAG Mobile Unit Question and a couple of others
That is one sick looking ride! What did you use as a base model and what is your plan for the logo - decal or handpainted? Also, any plans on decorating the interior? A week of waiting is perfect. My work is based in SEA, so the shipping time should be more or less the same (noticed the Air Asia adv...

Re: New to old kr!
1. I'm with Knightfever on this. Provided 3000's rate of repair is faster than the damage output, then it wouldn't stand a chance. I also wouldn't trust its durability that much as regular handgun rounds were able to scratch/slightly dent it. 2000, on the other hand, has "survived" a colli...

Re: FLAG Mobile Unit Question and a couple of others
Thanks! Will be ordering all 3 books (Legacy, Companion, and 30) as soon as I familiarize myself with the customs laws here. You're right! I forgot about Return to Cadiz! As for the other episode, I was able to track it down: Episode 12 from Season 1 (Plush Ride) Bonnie: Michael, what is this? Micha...

FLAG Mobile Unit Question and a couple of others
Does anyone know if they released an updated model (year 2000 onwards) of this truck in 1/64 or 1/43? I'm starting to rebuild my 80s vehicle collection and this is almost as important to me as KITT is. Also, minor questions: 1. Is KITT (2000) waterproof or can it operate underwater? I watched a reru...

Re: New Hot Wheels KARR
Hope they release a corrected version one day. Still, that is a nice piece to have.
Got others instead of KARR, however. Unlike the ebay link, my A-Team van has matching pairs of wheels.
