Anything Kenner did has been spread out through other companies. Kenner was bought out by Hasbro in the early 90s, shortly becoming Has-Ken, and then drowning Kenner out entirely and becoming Hasbro again. There were some things Kenner did/made that Hasbro wasn't interested in and they sold off the ...

Another perspective on the Universal/Pontiac thing: According to an interview with Rob Louisell, the man who started the entire Kitt conversion industry, Universal couldn't make Kitt-version Trans Ams and sell them, even if only coverted on the exterior. He had first contacted them in 1984 asking if...

So that means I can't believe was Glen A. Larson created because it wasn't on the show? The big difference between the novels and the fanfics is the novels were written by Glen. He created KR from the ground up. These were his original ideas. What the writers and producers in Hollywood did to them i...

KI - yes and no. True, it is illegal to sell non-licensed tapes and make money from it. However, if the person is selling them for the costs of the tapes only or trading them and not making a profit then it is ok. We had a large discussion about this on another board I'm a member to about that parti...

My car was stolen while it was still stock. It's usually chopped up and sold for parts. Luckily I got it back with minor damage and nothing missing but the wheels.. fortunately they weren't the turbo fins needed for Kitt. As for security, yes, you can install anything you want. You also can skip or ...

I have no idea on the shipping, but I know here in the states it's already in the hundreds. Also, it depends on what you want the car for. If you're going to be showing it off at shows and contests and such, yes, a turnkey is the way to go, but if it's just for you, personal, not to be shown off eve...

Yes, turnkeys are completely pre-assembled for you, and yes, you can have them done to your specifications. However, turnkeys have preset prices for what they offer. If you want it customized in any way, it may cost you extra... oh, and the $35,000-45,000 does not include shipping/delivery of any ki...
