Original hood had a bang one side from previous owner forcing the hood open (Important third gen owners, make sure to keep your hood hinges lubricated) also hood had a couple dents in it, I ended up replacing the hood with a used mint hood off a white 1983 Pontiac Trans Am, it was easier and cheaper...

KITT is not only red, he's has a white hood, black nose and a blue wing. Lots of luck, hopefully soon he will sport his traditional black paint job.

P.S. If you think about it he is sporting the colors of the Olympics

I agree I liked the references to KARR in this espisode but when I saw a robot, I said what!!! Please say that the CPU is from the original KARR placed in that robot at least. I'm glad they changed the license plate on KITT and I love Zoe, she is a hottie, especially in that cheerleader outfit. :kar...

I was at the comic con unveiling, I remember the producer said that it cost them a pretty penny to make, I almost certain they said the "GEM" company (Global Electric Motorcars) built the Attack KI3T.

Even though they say using the original 82 Trans Am "KITT" is not possible or having the Hoff and William Daniels. I say make it possible, fans want to see the "Original" KITT ride again, just like the "Original" General Lee rode again in the new Dukes of Hazzard movie....

Had to do some tweaking (Adjusted and changed brackets) with the driving and turn signal lights, here is the updated look of my KITT.
