Re: FLAG mobile unit - screenused miniature- revealed!
Just wanted to say that it's been confirmed. The kitt miniature I posted came directly from Jack Sessums. The same guy that purchased the remote controlled KITT also purchased this one, one other, and the semi . So it seems that there was a KITT miniature that had headlights and tailights as they we...

Re: FLAG mobile unit - screenused miniature- revealed!
Yes, I was watching Junkyard dog yesterday, and even just pulled up the youtube video for it yesterday. Later on in that scene you can actually see the front bumper of that miniature, and it doesnt look like mine at all. I think the one in junkyard dog had 3 seperate lights on either side, and mine ...

Re: FLAG mobile unit - screenused miniature- revealed!
Facinating. THANKS SO MUCH for all those wonderful insights. I find the lights in the KITT miniature especially interesting. I wonder who would bother putting headlights and tailights and a scanner into KITT.... The wiring looks very old, but the soldering job is top notch. It definitely was done a ...

Re: FLAG mobile unit - screenused miniature- revealed!
^^ Taoworm2323 - are you kidding?! You're the guy that made the perfect Knight 3000 orb that speaks back to you. The programming and the material fabrication alone on that are the most impressive thing I've ever seen. (we have to talk by the way :) I wanna add some of your stuff, and have a interact...

Re: FLAG mobile unit - screenused miniature- revealed!
Thank you all for you comments and help placing the Flag mobile unit and my KITT miniature. One great thing I discovered about the miniatures is that they have full working lights. The KITT miniature has working headlights and tailights too. The Trailer has side lights and interior lights. http://i6...

Re: FLAG mobile unit - screenused miniature- revealed!
^ Thanks so much man.. I just wanted to give thanks to Gary Cannavo. He was the previous owner of both these beauties. He has some absolutely amazing stuff and he's definitely a person to know in the world of collecting movie props. Thanks so much man! Without him I definitely would not have been ab...

Re: FLAG mobile unit - screenused miniature- revealed!
Joe, If memory serves me correctly, there was a model used in the scene of KITT VS KARR that had KARR crashing through the back of the FLAG semi. I would bet that this particular model was the one used for that scene, I think that idea tracks. Also AJ called me last night & he told me that he r...

Re: FLAG mobile unit - screenused miniature- revealed!
sadly no - I've never seen a die cast version of the knight rider FLAG semi. I don't think people made them because it would just be too expensive and too large. The toy companies figure that no one would purchase it. (of course, everyone here on the board would purchase them 8) ) I played around so...

Re: FLAG mobile unit - screenused miniature- revealed!
Thanks so much guys- I do have to mention that I didn't meet Jack Sessums in person. The semi was in the possession of one other owner before me. (i'll ask if he wants to be mentioned here). Here are more pics -I finally got it unboxed... it's absolutely massive. http://i66.photobucket.com/albums/h2...

FLAG mobile unit - screenused miniature- revealed!
Hey all, Haven't posted much because I couldn't contribute much... but things have changed and I finally got my holy grail. Many people wanted to know what happened to the FLAG mobile unit miniature. There was only one made and according to this article and tribute to the late Jack Sessums it was so...

Re: Live Discussion Thread: Knight of the Living Dead
Theory: Mike has Karr's cpu in his brain Just like Knight Rider 2000 with that girl and Kitt's processors in her brain. That's why he can't remember anything - because all his memories are KARR are blocked That's why when he touched KITT in the previous episodes his files popped up - because Mike is...

Re: Attack mode/speed/ contradiction
true.. speed is never the answer to extinguish a flame. The analogy to a space shuttle and the sr-71 is justified. however, I don't believe it's totally "on point." It is possible that at those speeds the friction caused by air could actually allow kitt to shed the napalm from his skin. Na...

Re: Irritating bad news for KR 2008 on scifi.com
while I could tolerate the first pilot episode of KR. From what I've seen the season is going to start off with a lot of flashy lights - a Kitt cave and have really technical nonsense-speak of which the actors cannot pull off (and I love techno-babble). For those who know - I'm predicting that this ...

Re: KITT Knight Rider PC Case Mod
rhdaussiekitt - thanks for the comment - yes, I will be putting kitts scanner in there soon. I have a small hole cut out for it already above the voice box - but I need to make it much wider for it to look better. all computer power supplies can give out 12 volt power - the same as a car. You just h...
