Our coverage from the 2004 event.

On September 9, 2006, an event to benefit the Make-A-Wish foundation will be held at the Saugus Speedyway in California. (This is where scenes from Knight of the Phoenix & Slammin' Sammy's Stunt Show Spectacular were filmed.) The goal of the event is to raise money, have an event somewhere Knight Rider was filmed and give the fans on the west coast a chance to show off their replicas.

The event is looking to feature stars from Knight Rider as well as KITT replicas. So far tentatively scheduled to appear is Rebecca Holden and Stu Phillips with more that may be added.

The organizer of this event has asked us to post this to help judge interest for this event. Would you want to go to it? Please let us know and we'll be sure that he hears you! I'm in NYC myself, but this is starting to seem kinda exciting.

On Wednesday (May 18th) BMI held it's annual Film & Television Awards dinner. For the first time they added a new category for Ringtones, where Knight Rider was a lucky recipient:

With a nod to the digital music age, BMI handed out its first Ringtone Awards for the TV music themes that have become the most-performed songs in the mobile space; the awards went to Stu Phillips for the theme to "Knight Rider" and Lalo Schifrin for the theme to "Mission Impossible.

We're back from the Knight Nationals, and we had a blast of a time. We are a little tired for wear, but it was worth it. Everyone was terrific, from the fans, to Pamela Susan Shoop, Don Peake and Patricia McPherson. The Knight Registries organization put together a teriffic event, and we must thank them for all their hard work that went into it. It was great to finally meet and spend quality time with a lot of you after so many years.

If you missed it and would like to get an Autograph from Pamela Susan Shoop information can be found at her website.

Don Peake's website is donpeakemusic.com. Be sure to check back there soon to find out information on how to get your copy of his new Knight Rider compilation CD.

Patricia McPherson has been dedicating her time to saving the Ballona wetlands. You can find out more about this, her organization and how you can help at grassrootscoalition.org.
