New Movie Intro

I like the show last night, but thought if this is geared for a younger audience, that the first 10 minutes of the program def wasn't safe.

1. It shows Mike Trace with 2 females in bed.
2. It shows the female cop with a girl in bed that she just picked up the night before.

What sort of programming is this???

I'll ditto Mike on that. Andre and Mario, please get real..."real life"??? Sorry, most people aren't like that actually. Sexual innuendo is probably going to be developed if this becomes a series, totally destroying the possibility of this show capturing the audience of the original. Those two scenes easily could have been ommitted from the film, and it would have proceeded just fine. I have a hunch that they'll be used in the future for more sexual themes. The original show didn't have any of that, and frankly it worked just fine. It still beats any remake, including this last one!

I agree that the sex stuff should have been left out. As a die-hard fan of the original series, I was disappointed with the whole movie and to have to see that crap made it worse. That is exactly why I do not watch most new shows on tv...why does everything have to be based on sex?

I *thought* I was gonna like the new theme, based on the first 20 seconds or so... then it goes off on that weirdness. Heh... they needed to keep and update the "duhh dah dah DUHHH DAHHH dah dah DUHHHH" part lol

Back in the day knight rider had a guy who always seemed to get with the woman. nowadays we're a lot less prude to things of a sexual nature, so it sounds like much the same but with more flesh?

Frankly, the sexually suggestive stuff at the beginning of the show was just dumb because it had nothing to do with the show. It didn't fit one bit with the story and if they had left that out, it would have only helped. They could have spent those 10-15 minutes developing exactly who Mike Tracer is as a person; what do I care what he does in bed in the mornings, or who an FBI agent (who is a minor character) prefers?

The biggest problem I had with it is that is possibly establishes a foundation for more sexual content in future episodes.I frankly don't care how many shows on TV have "real life" content, because thats the one reason most of whats on TV isn't appropriate for kids. I'm just surprised simple family friendly content isn't considered "real life" anymore; pretty sad that TV networks have to ram sexual content down everyone's (including kids) throught.

In the original series, there was nothing at all sexually suggestive; thats the reason why it could be enjoyed by the whole family (I watched each episode beginning at 8 years old). This new show should have started out with one simple thing: one man can make a difference. Threesomes and lesbianism were just added for shock value, and in my opinion just do injustice to the original premise of Knight Rider. If the show does become a series next fall, it won't differentiate itself much from whats already on TV if producers insist on including unnecessary sexual content.

Theres the last of them from 2002 n then they jus started making them again for 2008 so why cant you jus use one of those! Okay, seriously, this whole attacking on the sex thing is bullshit. THEY DIDN'T EVEN SHOW THEM HAVING SEX PEOPLE. It's not like the show got much into that whole gig anyway. Just a quick scene showing him with his arms around two girls,"OOh WOW, big WHoop."How many times have we all seen that. I completely forgot about those quick scenes when I was watching the rest of the show. THAT CAR KICKED ASS. "DUH" That's what it was all about.

And I also agree with Andre saying that it is a part of everyday life that we're all use to seeing anyway. "big freakin' Whoop"

Oh and by the way, the old Michael Knight was with a different chick every week on the old series so what freakin' difference does it make anyway. You're really not onto the show if all you're thinking about the whole entire time you're watching it are just two stupid sexy scenes. Give me a FREAKIN' break.

Oh and trans am dude, that Cobra KR Mustang had 200 plus more horsepower than a Trans Am.

Oh and this whole expecting it to be like it was back in the 1980's. That series was at a different place, different time, different society, different people of that society, different way of life 25years ago. Times have changed people and you're not understanding that. It only makes sence that they relate this show to being update with todays reality. I'm sorry some of you people can't handle the truth. Deal with it.

Trans Am dude needs to get a life it might be 2010 before we even see another Trans Am if we see one by then I agree fully with what Domanic had to say. I am going to be 30 soon and I grew up with the original series and have all the seasons on DVD and it was all differnt then. If we are going to have Knight Rider now it has to be updated. I am a big shelby fan and when I found out it was going to be a GT500KR I was extatic. They are only going to make 1,000 to buy and have a price tag close to $100,000.

So lets just watch the show and enjoy.

Heck yeah. I was extatic throughout the whole entire show because it mostly focused on the car and the four main characters stoppting the bad guys. At least be happy that that's one thing that hasn't changed in the show.

And I agree. Let's just enjoy the show for what it's meant for.
