I was laughing my head off in the first hour. The second hour wasn't as funny but good acts.

My favorite part was with the lady and the harp. David said, I could just see her floating in the air. That line was totally funny.

David really made the show for me...hehe. I wouldn't have been watching it if it wasn't for him.

Ya know, I don't understand how some of these people can even think they have any kind of talent...

I have to say something: This show actually works!
Also, some of the freaker performers really cracked me up, especially the horn-playing guy.
DH makes a terrific judge, too, and he's better as a Tv show judge than Lorenzo Lamas.

I didn't know the Hoff hated jugglers so much! Too bad that english judge kept pushing David's buzzer when the wacky people were up though. I would have liked to see some of those acts just because they were so bad!

I watched it myself. All I could say was it reminded me of that old 1970s game show The Gong Show. I did like the "Rappin Granny". Ther were like three juggling acts that night. The third act was liked by the judges. Ther was a vantrilaquisum act where the British judge admited that he prematurely hit the X button before the act relly got going. It was when the performer did his own version of Gidzilla by doing the imfamous poor dubbing. I was funny as well. There wre Times where even David Hasohoff got down. One of the best acts was a little girl ( a third grader) who could do stand up comedy.

I think the show was like a 3-ring circus of the good, the bad and the freaky, but I loved the X part of the show, with the judges X-ing out the really horrible acts early, despite the protests of some of them.
DH's saw-zilla comment really cracked me up, as did the horn player, among other things that made me laugh.
It was a crazy show, but it actually was a good show, despite some of the stranger acts I saw last night.

I feel we got gyped... did you see how many acts made it into the next round and we couldn't see them?

My mom said the same thing, she thought it was like The Gong Show.

There's going to be more wild auditions tonight. I also liked the balloon man did a balloon sculpture of the host Regis Philbin.

America's Got Talent 6/28/06 airing.

I finally got a chance to watch this show. I was impressed. Especially with David and his remarks on the talent. No nonsense, cut through the B.S. and tell them. He is the main reason I will watch the show again. Regis is the number 2 reason. I think he is as talented as David. :)

I didn't really watch it last night. I saw a couple of acts on the new show and that was about it. I got kinda bored with it now.

I hope they use the clip of David saying "KITT get me outta here" on one of the upcoming shows!

It was a rather interesting 2nd show last night, and I wonder how tall an acrobatic guy w/ drag queen makeup and a strange outfit was without his platform shoes.
DH said it best when he said, "I thought you were going to die on stage", because I think he almost did.
The guy was quite good, despite his getup.

I will admit he DID STAND out! Glad to see Brandi gave him a second chance and they voted him in. Don't you think he loves the fruit a bit much too? :)

I do agree that David truly puts a whole lot of character into the judging of this show. But, that Brit...I swear...one wrong stare or twitch and he's all 'neXXXt'. One would think he's trying to meet a time deadline over giving anyone a chance to be anything less then perfection.

The show really shouldn't have had the X buttons so easily available to use. This crap with one judge being able to go for all the buttons ought to be illegal.

And, it just made me laugh when the female stripper walks up on stage and both David and the Brit are wrestling with what's her name to keep her away from the buttons. On the other hand...I kept waiting for David to end the male stripper bit...and he was just kicking back...preparing to take it all in... O_o

These "anything goes" entertainment shows are true rarities and can lead to some of the best...and worst...entertainment around. Granted, I do feel robbed of all the entertainment that could have been. Yet...if they had gone and run EVERY act, you have to realize that this series would be probabaly be doing three/four/five (?) seasons just to fit it all in. Most of it would be dull and the show would lost a ton of viewership over the unbiased approach. After all, do we truly want to know how many jugglers did appear, dropping balls and bowling pins all over the place??? Now...in the future...interactive television may provide the answer with click-to-view interfaces...much like a web site.
