Knight Rider jumps the shark in episode 8?!?!

I was just browsing and came across this.

According to Wikipedia, Knight Rider 'jumped the shark' in the very first series! On its list of different ways a programme has gone too far, it says:
Use of a plot device which is regarded as a cliché, such as a story involving the evil twin of a main character; e.g., on Knight Rider, KITT's meeting his bad-minded brother KARR.
I could understand the Michael/Garthe episodes more in season 2 but the programme was very much in its prime.

If anything, looking back, i'd say the introduction of RCIII heralded the end of Knight Rider more.

I agree... A lot depends on the genre of the show. For example, if The West Wing introduced a Republican twin brother of the president, THAT would be a major jump-the-shark moment. But an 80s adventure show about a talking car? Knight Rider can get away with it.

It sure didn't seem like it to me...
I think, however, that the "Voodoo Knight" episode was not that great.
