Can't sell my KNIGHT RIDER Boardgame!

Post by oppenca2 » Thu Sep 08, 2005 8:10 pm

I have a Knight Rider Board Game up for sale on ebay plus a scrapbook containing Knight Rider pages and no one wants to bid on it! I am shocked! I thought collectors and Knight Rider fans would want this. It was on for a week, now its on for another week. Just thought I would let everyone know.

I have a "Knight Rider" board game myself in storage, but no plans to sell mine.
I have at least a few "knight Rider" items, but I think I'd rather keep my stuff rather than sell it.  8)

No one will buy it cause God wants you to keep it cause it's a classic and you shouldn't get rid of it. :D

Its a classic, basic boardgame. Nothing fancy. A little KITT pawn is used in the game.

Why are you selling it, anyway?

We could use the money, and I thought it being a great KNIGHT RIDER item, it might bring in a good return. I love buying and selling on ebay, but it can get expensive! (Ebay fees and such) It seems like if there is something I really want it goes up in price very high (the Knight Rider burnin key car) or other Knight Rider/David Hasselhoff things...but if I sell things, it doesn't always turn out as expected. I also have a bunch of KR stuff that I cant part with :D

Looks like Im gonna have to, no one is even looking at buying it :( , but it makes me sad also that no one is interested. Maybe its just a poor time to sell things with the hurricane relief effort going on and such. Or, maybe everyone that wants the Knight Rider game has it.

I'm saving up my money to move and thus don't want a lot of stuff right now (and living in a small apartment doesn't give me much room to begin with). If I already had a bigger place, I'd be tempted to bid on it. :)

However, wait until the auction actually closes. Some eBayers will tend to not bid until the last few seconds if they want something. Usually the last few seconds of an auction can be a war.

Nope, never sold for two weeks. There was only one watcher. Anyone interested in the future, let me know. Thanks everyone!

I'm thinking that this game is played with the roll of a die or dice. At least two players compete against each other. Looks like there are intersections, where someone might have to jump over someone else...if one piece has been moved there. Looks like there are special stunt spaces. Probably uses cards, or something when landing there. Jumps may also need cards or work in some sort of way. Price is right for collecting. But, I have no room.

The other day, I picked up a Cheers board game at a thrift store for a $1.65. Up to eight people can play a character of their choice from the show. Playing field is a large grid with the layout of the bar. One die moves all pieces nearly freely on the grid. Special spaces move pieces to specific spots or initiate a free-for-all challenge. To continue your turn after a move, you must answer a trivia question about the show. Point is to collect four different markers from special squares. To collect, land on and answer a special card. A Norm or Cliff card. Norm require filling in the blank and Cliffs are yes/no.

It's amazing how board games can be created, isn't it?

I'm having problems setting up my account with PayPal. I hear that's the safest way to buy anything on Ebay.

Paypal is good. I use it all the time on eBay. It does take a few days or so to get all set up though. Give it a little time and if you have problems, give them a call or email them. Usually they'll get things fixed up fast enough. :)

The problem is I can't access the new accounts page. I' tried everything but call them up and get some help. I think it's something with my computer settings.
