Tom Welling to play Michael Knight
I was just thinking of all the people to play Michael for the new movieor tv series. If david was somehow unable to play Michael and they were going to either start a new series, how about Tom Welling?I've looked at his face and it does bare some similarity to Davids in the 80's.What do you guys think?

I've read an article on http://www.cinescape.com where it was rumored that producers were reluctant to the idea of having Hasselhoff in the new movie because they thought his reputation was questionable, and even used the word "cheesy." Of course we as fans see it the opposite way. Plus, although details on the movie are sketchy, it seems more than likely that David will be in the film.

"The subject of the review, actually was not this video, rather it was whether or not the group felt this project could be taken seriously given the trailer we saw and what they actually termed, 'cheesy' reputation of David Hasselhoff. They stated up front right away that Hasselhoff would not be the star but that 'head honchos' were nervous his reputation could detract from the project. Most of the group said they felt it would not if the new star was reputable."

We have wonder if those "head honchos" were the same people who thought the car shouldn't talk in the movie.... Since the time that article was written, Hasselhoff has parted ways with the studio and was looking for a new one. So any early plans or ideas might not be valid anymore. And it's not a very good focus group if the moderator is leading the audience with words like "cheesey".

Tom Welling should just stick to Smallville. I mean, after seeing the show he doesn't seem Knight Rider worthy.

The new episodes are the ones that I watch. Although he's played different personalites. He doesn't seem like he would be a driver of a high tech Car.

I agree, David is becoming more like like Devon Miles type. He would be great and I believe very believable as a mentor and leader of a new FLAG.
I like Cameron Mathison from the soap "all my children:Ryan Lavery"
He would make a great new driver for a new KITT, maybe a black 2005 Mustang.
The new charactor would be Jason Knight and would have a simular beginning like Michael, a new face and all.
I think Cameron's career in soaps would be simular to David's
Anyway, thats what I think.
