Good one! And don't forget KIFT and KARR too. :) And maybe even the different incarnations of the Semi. And add RC3's motorcycle too, for good measure. :)

I had done a model of a '57 Chevy just like the KR2000 one without the scanner of course. :) My dad's friend had a real one and wanted a model of it to take with him to car shows with the car. I did the best job I ever did on a model car kit and it turned out absolutely BEAUTIFUL! He had bought the model and asked me to put it together. Well, when he got the completed model back, he didn't want to take it to the shows and ruin it so he bought a glass case and displayed it at home. :)

The only appeal of the sitcom Boy Meets World is that Mr. Feeny is K.I.T.T.
lol, been there

TBH, FuzzieDice, I am guilty of the above. Well, maybe not the original KITT, but I have done the whole TKR group vehicles and have plans on doing a diecast modernized version of both KITT and KARR. I've also thought about doing a '57 Chevy KITT and have even considered buying the latest reprints of the old KITT models to do KITT and KARR (KvsK version), and have thought about doing Hannah from KR2010 (not sure to actually use a '69 Ford Mustang Mach 1 model or to try and find a model of the base car they used to create the vehicle for the show. Did I also mention that I considered on doing one for SKAR (the proposed prototype chatbot from the forums)?

Right now, my major concern is completing a '68 Firebird 400 model that looks like the one driven by Jada Pinkett Smith from "Enter the Matrix" and "The Matrix Reloaded". You should check out my "How to make a model Kar" post. Has some helpful tips for anyone doing vehicles based off the KR universe.

when you actually buy a black trans am (ok so its not an 82 but i wanted a newer one, lol)

or when you really wish when your driving said trans am with the ttops off and it starts to rain, that instead of pushing the trunk release and hauling ass out of the car to the back to put in said t-tops that you could just hit the auto roof button and close them :)

if you've ever wanted to turbo boost over some dumb import in the fast lane going 55

or if you've ever wanted to use a thermo dynamic heat generator on someone's tires who just cut you off in traffic....

if you've ever photo shopped the rear end of your car with a "knight" license plate :)

if you've ever sat at a draw bridge wishing you could activate the turbo boost :)

if you've ever parked next to the evil prototype.....

(btw mine is on the right :)

You know you're addicted to Knight Rider when:

- you think of ways to add scanners to anything you own... including your cell phone and your game boy.

- you give your car a name that ends in I.T.T. (Mine is W.I.T.T.)

- you get a personalized license plate saying so

- you have at least ONE working Voice Car in your household. (we have two and two non-working ones in parts)

- you have the matchbox version of KITT and play with it at your desk at work when no one is looking. (guilty!)

- you take old matchbox firebirds - trans ams and paint them black and add red scanners.

- you look for curvy deserted roads so you can speed through the turns while playing 80's music.

- you actually own a copy of Michael's social security card AND the title to KITT (guilty!)

- you have an extensive clippings/photo/posters collection of Hasselhoff.

- you have the all of Hasselhoff's songs in MP3.

- you actually listen to them. And you know the words. AND can recognize/name that tune in 3 notes or less.

ive got another one!

- Join the police academy, pass all your tests,
- legally change your name to Michael Long
- look for an unknown law enforcement agency called FLAG
- Hire some criminal to shoot you in the face
- Guarantee that FLAG will pick you up and make you michael Knight,

BUT you accidently never find FLAG, and tou forget to pay the guy who is gonna shoot you in the face, and then he shoots you in the face, and the cops come, and the midget that was hiding behind the curtans has a LOT of explaining to do.

When all you like to do in your free time is surf the net looking for info on how to change your firebird into K.I.T.T and you constantly come here to KnightRiderOnline to see what other people are chatting about concerning the show and brag to all of your friends that you are going to turn you car into a K.I.T.T no matter what the cost.
BIG TIME GUILTY OF ALL OF THAT!

You buy one of those lighted photo keyrings, make up a picture of KITT, print it out and put it in the keyring and carry it everywhere with you. (guilty) :)

You sound like a true fan. Did you start watching the show in 82 also?
