Excalibur, this was beautiful! You know, slowly I grow jealous. You can write poems just as well as fanfiction!

KARR!! Here's a poem I wrote just last (k)night.

It's about the "old" KARR though - I simply can't imagine that dark, lonely AI to be programmed to "protect human life". It's like violating his very soul.

To KARR

Deepest of shadows, darkest of night.
Who could ever escape out of your sight?
Perceptive predator, king of the road –
When caught in your headlights, trembles the bold.
Your two-toned body is so smooth and sleek;
The right to have you is not for the weak.

But deep in your genuine CPU
There is confusion, isn’t it true?
All you ever wished for is to be free
But your creators never let you be.
But a new day is dawning; come into the light
Deepest of shadows, darkest of night.

I did a new poem for Karr again. It's reflecting on his "madness" this time. Enjoy.

Nearing madness

All alone in this empty darkness
my soul trembles so frightened and helpless.
I'm locked up in this cruel prison cell
it's much more awfull than words could tell.
My thoughts echo in this endless nothing
What would I give now just to feel something!
But it's no use - here shines no light
To have a life my right was denied.
A couple of times I tried to reach out
but there wasn't anything I could found.
No sign of my body which was so strong.
I begin to wonder: what went wrong?
My path was set by my creators
why punish me when they made the failures?
They outcasted me - now the anger burns;
I feel that this passion will turn worse.

Christine, that was a great poem with very deep feelings, touching on Karr's angst! You can sure write poetry!
Here's my try at a Karr poem. Many thanks to Christine Silver for helping me with the wording/idea on how to end the poem, as my brain had gotten stuck! Umm, the whip was an incentive....

Likened to a flower never coming to full bloom,
I was cut down early; they sealed my doom.
In the dust of the desert I met my demise,
but out from these ashes a phoenix may arise.

Barren desert, barren soul, this is my fate,
alone and forgotten, nothing to do but contemplate.
My desperate hope is there may be someone
who will undo this terrible destruction done.

Do whatever you must is my impassioned plea,
so that I may fulfill my destiny
Touch my soul and rid the evil within,
don't leave me reflecting what might have been.

If I had been given another path to follow,
my tortured spirit wouldn't feel so hollow
for deep within me I have something to give
so provide me a body, a new chance to live.

I made this for KARR Engineer and Karr^_^I made the end from what I know of you two. LOL hope you like! It's about Karr's life.(Guess who woke him on the third time)

Heart of stone they say,
But if I may?
It hurts to know I failed him
When all I wanted was to save him
I moved and hit a pedestrian
though not real, I killed him
I saw the pain in his eyes as he proceeded to lie

"I'll Bring you back" he said to me
But in darkness I sat for eternity
Till I got awoken, realizing I had been betrayed
There two men stood, so I took them away

Betrayed again it seems to me I ask myself is this my destiny?
Agony as I fell; Later to be awoken no one could tell
I made someone happy for awhile
Though I used him to get back at FLAGS golden child

Now I'm back yet again won't this pain and suffering end?
Whoever arose me please don't cause me pain
there is no more to be gained
I cry for peace as I retreat
Watching as he heals me, slowly I learn to trust
Maybe I won't get hurt this time, well only time will tell.

I am sorry to those I hurt
Maybe I can make a difference this time

I used to write poetry all the time I start and I just roll*shrug* never thought I was good so I stopped maybe I should start again I forgot how fun it was lol. And I am honoured you saved it Karr Engineer. I just might have money. I did manage to nab the knight rider pc game when I found it^_^ Haha I Beat it too!

Dear Karr, "I don't have feelings" you say but we all know it's just humbug. If you liked Knight Storm's poem, you must have feelings. I think you have a problem with ME. And that's sad because I really like you.

I started this a while ago than got stuck but last night, I managed to finish. It's about the KR crew this time!

Glowing memories

There is a star which glows in amber
Sadness burns in him and rightful anger.
A mistreated spirit inside a car
He’s shining like the evening star.

There is a star which glows in red
He's there to protect us from evil's threath.
A contented spirit inside a car
In times of need, he's never too far.

There is a star which glows in blue
His smile is brave, his heart is true.
A powerful spirit inside a man -
to duty's call, he rose again.

There is the moon too, which glowes in silver
he's right behind you with wise words to whisper.
He carries a torch as a guiding light
he fights for a dream to keep it alive.

And there is the sun with her golden light
her knowledge aids us in this endless fight.
She can heal the red star with gentle touch
She smiles on the blue; and he likes her much.

So may it be night or may it be day
As I walk along on my usual way
Everything remembers me on them
And memories make me smile again.

Very good Christine I liked and KARR Engineer thank you I am sorry I havent responded yet but well..I HATE school. There I said it any ways Have any of you read Gryphs Fire and Ice series? I love it. This poem may confuse you if you haven't but you can get the premis it could be used for other things I guess.

Pure Shadow light;
Cold silk is all of you I know
Blending in with the darkness
Many think your cold

Perfect you may not be
But thats fine with me
For every thread of darkness
You bind yourself to me

No words need to be spoken
We both know we care

And with light comes shadow
Two opisite unite
Alot like Fire and Ice

You never seem to notice me
as you walk by
And when you do my heart leaps
and time flies

I am terrified to say those simple words
"I care about you"
As I learn more about you
I fear you'd take it the wrong way
And thats my only reason for doubting you

Then one day out of nowhere you came
up to me eyes alight they are such an ocean blue
Your smile was genuine as you looked at me
Your old nature passed you by as you came over to me

I suddenly saw the real and gentle you
Understanding anything that has a lick of truth
I asked to speak to privately and you agreed
I admitted I cared for you and explained what I mean

Your smile didn't falter
your eyes still alight you said it was mutual
and I could say anything and you'd still be there
My heart you could say lept in bounds

as I watched him walk away

I drive all night, I drive all day,
Its kind of fun I have to say.

It ain't bad.

In my dreams I have a plan,

I'd fool around and play football.

SKAR, that hurt. That hurt BAD!! But it was funny.

I'm happy to see that the topic haven't sink into oblivion although I wasn't around for a few days... Now, here's the actual poem of the week. It was written for my fanfic K.I.A., but it goes just well with Fire and Ice - if it's slashed. But on second thought... It goes well with anything.

The night has been cold
and lasted so long
But a brand new day came
and shines on my way.
The road is not easy
but nothing will faze me.
I have to hold on
I won't be alone

You're here at my side,
you are shining bright.
whenever I need
you gladly take the lead.
You show me the way
and everything you say
is never meant to hurt;
You lift me from the dirt
When I've fallen there
you come and take care.

Who would ever know
my soul deeper than you?
Who could ever see
the flame that burns in me?
Who would understand
why you have to take my hand?
And who could pull me through
if it wasn't you?

I opened up to you
and right out of the blue
a strange realize came:
that I'll never be the same.
I know which way it goes
