Currently I am working on story boards, and Knight Driver has partial finished most of the angles for KITT to do the opening. I'll try and have a website up in a few days. :)

Hey! I would love to help you guys with this thing. I'm a big fan of both Knight Rider and Southpark. I can do voices pretty well if you want something similar to what they do on Southpark. I can do most of the Southpark characters pretty well. I can probably even help you guys with the script since I know both shows pretty well. Email me if you think you could use some help.

I will note that this project and its contents are aimed at MATURE adults. If you can't handle its suggestive theme, then please ignore the topic and its contents.

That's your last teaser until we get the site up! :) As you can see we will be adding in some celebrity appearances. We have bought a special domain for the website and have been going crazy designing the web site interface which we think you will all enjoy. We also have animated and non animated banners if anyone would care to link to us.

I will warn everyone though, again I can't stress this enough, this is just as immature as south park, therefore it requires a "mature" audience. I know there are a lot of young posters here, but I'm going to have to say that we are keeping this limited to the adults/mature members of the forum.

Hey all, Just wanted to post on this as well since I am heavily involved in the designing of this project. As you can see by the screen shots Ken posted, we have taken great steps to make sure that things are accurate but done in a comedic style (southpark traditional I call it).

Although our first project is spoofing Knight of the Phoenix, we are open to suggestions on "who" and "what" you would like to see in these shorts. We have a few idea's on additional episodes as well.

"Good Day at South Park" is one I have dreaming up as well.

Feel free to shoot us some idea's. Ken should have the web site up within days and believe me, you will laugh your @$#!$* off. The site alone is a classic. Thanks for the feedback so far. Definitly more to come.Keep your scanners peeled.......

My general advice would be to keep the humor and spoofing fairly generic. It will appeal to a much larger audience that way. For example, WE might understand references to SID, but most other people wouldn't. If you want to make this as an inside joke for the Knight Rider community, then you can go with a lot of references to specific scenes. If you want to see it talked about around the rest of the internet, be more generic.

You can follow the basic plot of Phoenix or Good Day, just don't rely on people needing to know those episodes to get the jokes.

Well, the "good day" one is in name only, It wont really have much to do with the KR episode other than Name and characters.

Knight of the Phoenix will be sppofed as the episode but will be changed a bit to gear towards the Knight Rider gang being in the 4th grade. You will enjoy what we have done with this. Non Knight Rider fans will enjoy this as well. Although we are using our favortie KR gang, we are branching out to new adventures with tons of celebrity guests that every one will enjoy seeing "Parkeriszed!"

Knight of the Phoenix will be our first project and as you will see on the site by weeks end. I have taken the actual locations from the series and given them that Comedy touch. From the semi to Devons office, it will all be there for you to recognize. Even a few other touches that you wouldn't expect. I wont get into it here as Ken wants the rest to be a surprise.

Stay tuned for more info as things get rolling further.

Hi, glad there is still some intrest out there. :) We pretty much got the website done, most if not all the animations are done, its just now all about figuring out how to do the pilot and how to actaully make it not stop humorous.

The website is avliable at http://southrider.knightriderfans.com

Its not 100% complete yet, downloads, news, and credits still needs to be finished but everything else works.

I'm sure they will let us know when there is something worth updating us about. Lets leave them alone and let them create. It's not fair to rush them.

Thanks for the continued interest! I don't really have any important updates to make at this time, nor a time frame on when to expect it to be finished. Our biggest problem with this, is its a spare time project, and unfortunately its a project that requires a lot of attention so it has been neglected lately.

The artwork and animations are done, or biggest problem is writing a story to turn into a short cartoon. If anyone would like to take a stab it, feel free to e-mail me. :) Otherwise its kinda stuck up in the air on what we want to do with it. We want to make it a cartoon, but at the same time it might be easier to make it an interactive online comic book?

KnightDriver and I both have a huge project that's going to be announced hopefully late spring that we know you will ALL enjoy. South Rider is just one of those projects we are doing for fun over the winter while we wait for the weather conditions to improve where we live.
